I've been with the Avengers for the longest time. Probably since I was baby. I don't really remember much from my childhood besides the stories my "aunts" and "uncles" would tell me, but somehow deep down I knew it wasn't true. My first ever mission with the Avengers was when I was 14 and that was when I helped battle Ultron and I thought we did amazing. I thought I did amazing. Then after a year uncle Tony recruited another Avenger named Spider-Man. I'm not going to lie, he's a looker and funny one too but he got more special treatment than I ever did and I was the youngest. I'm still the youngest because apparently Peter was only a few months older than me!

Uncle Thor who "adored" me so much stopped paying attention to me because of Peter. I'm never the jealous type but I for sure was jealous. I didn't understand why suddenly I was left behind but either way I still felt left out even when Peter wasn't in the picture at first. It was like the Avengers were afraid of me.

I started to become more distant and worked out on my own. I started eating less too because Uncle Steve and Tony weren't happy at I was taking my breakfast and dinner into my room. So I ate when everyone was done eating or I didn't eat at all. When one would talk to me, I responded in short sentences and left when I got annoyed. I was never like this and I don't blame Peter at all, I blame myself for letting it get to me.

"Y/n we have a mission to do." I heard Natasha say through my door. I looked up from my book and quickly started to change into my uniform. Even though I didn't really talk to my "family" I always got excited when it came to having mission because that was the time I was able to let out my anger... besides working out. I jogged up the quinjet and was greeted by Peter.

"Hey Y/n!" He said happily.

I gave him a soft smile, "Hey Peter."

"C'mon kids sit down." Uncle Steve said, closing up the quinjet.

Peter and I sat down next to each other away from the adults. Although I was kinda jealous of Peter, it didn't stop me from growing a friendship with him.

"How's school been?" I asked him, playing with my fingers.

"School is school." He replied, merely shrugging.

"How are you and that girl... Michelle?"

Peter shrugged again, "I don't know it's kinda weird, one day we like each other and the next we don't even acknowledge each other's existents."

I pursed my lips, "I know the feeling." I mumbled, feeling a cold, painful, emptiness in my chest.

I furrowed my eyebrows and clenched my shirt as I was starting to feel sad. I didn't notice Peter was now alert until he slightly poked me.

"Uh.. Y/n you're glowing purple."

"What?" I asked in disbelief as I looked at him. Before he could even respond the quinjet came to a holt with uncle Steve grunting.

"New plan." He said, turning back to us. "Y/n I'm going to need you to distract Enchantress, you're the only one because you have strong mind control and powerful illusions. Maybe stronger than hers, alright?"

I took a deep breath and opened the quinjet, walking out to see Enchantress, moving and teleporting things. I stood into a position and focused into trying to block her mind. I was able to get into her head and was able to see the things she thought of but she knew I was here. She turned around to face me, a glare well written on her face but once she saw it was me. That glare faded.

"Ah.. if it isn't the girl who's just like me."

"I'm nothing like you." I hissed, creating illusions to cover up my family.

"Nothing like me? I wouldn't be so sure." She said softly. Her teleports going away as she was now focused on me. She walked up to me slowly, studying me.

"I can feel the anger within you." She said sternly, anger hinted in her voice. The same anger I felt.

"I'm not angry."

"No? Not angry at the one family you have? The one who was suppose to love you and not be afraid of you?"

"Ignore her Y/n, she's trying to get in your head." Natasha said over the ear piece. I ignored her though.

"I know what it's like to feel that way, because I once did feel that way darling." Enchantress said softly, now close to my face. She quickly grabbed my shoulders and spinned me around, making my illusions disappear and show my fellow Avengers. They all stood in shock that they were seen and because Enchantress got a hold of me.

"Let her go Amora." Uncle Thor glared, taking a few steps towards us but she quickly blocked him with the mind shield she created.

"Do you really think they deserve you? I can literally feel the sadness pouring off of your small teenage body darling." She said in my ear, "you shouldn't feel this way. You should feel powerful like me because you are powerful. They don't deserve you, they threw you away like dirt when that little bug came into your life!"

"Don't listen to her Doll!" Uncle Steve said.

"She's trying to get in your head!" Natasha growled.

Enchantress growled as well, "if I was trying to get in your head sweetheart you'd feel it." She hissed.

"Join me and I promise to take care of you better than these idiots ever did."

"You promise?" I whispered, staring at the "aunts" and "uncles"

"I promise."

"Because you know I can kill you right?"

"What?"

I turned around and cupped Enchantress's head harshly, making her hear screams and feel the pain that I was in, blocking all her powers with my mind and illusions.

"I can kill you if you lie to me," I said through gritted teeth.

"I won't break the promise I swear!" She coughed, slowly falling to her knees.

I pulled my hands away and she dropped to the floor, gasping for air. She looked up at me and wicked smile formed into her face.

"You are one powerful girl." She said. She slowly stood up and eyed the family who was suppose to love me. Who was suppose to care.

"Break them." She said.

I looked at her for a good second before turning around and getting into each and one of the Avengers head. They all screamed or groaned in pain. I created illusions around Wanda and pointed at her for Amora to see. She looked at Wanda with an amused face.

"Magneto's daughter." She said softly, watching Wanda scream in pain. Amora shrugged and teleported her somewhere elsewhere, making Clint scream 'no!' and then fall to the ground.

"They won't know what hit them when we come back." She whispered in my ear, "come darling."

I stopped torturing my once family and gave them one last look before following behind Enchantress. I could feel the sad eyes burning through my back, but now they know how I felt. Now they know they hurt me badly in past and now they're paying up for it. I was no longer the good guy.
