Burns. Burns. Burns, it burns! That was all I thought when Aro and the rest of the Volturi bit me. I felt like I was on fire. I don't know what happened, I don't know how it happened.. well I mean I guess I do, it was probably from by being to overwhelmed, but I was no longer moving, I must've passed out or fell asleep, but I knew I wasn't moving. I could hear their voices. I heard them talking about my kids, I heard everything. I knew my body was changing I felt it. I felt every piece and inch of me move into new skin, a new body, one that was meant for me.
"She hasn't woken up yet." I heard Heidi mumble. She sounded stressed and go hostile at any second.
"Are you saying we were late Heidi?" Caius asked, slightly raising his voice.
I can already imagine his face.
"It's been two days Caius, she should've woken up minutes after you bit her."
"Shhh.. listen." Aro hissed.
My heartbeat went fast, the last burning sensation went away quickly along with my heartbeat. My human heart, my human self was no longer. After a second my eyes opened.
"Y/n?.." I heard Heidi mumble again.
I quickly stood up and turned to her, everything seemed to be crystal clear. I can see the dust in the air, I can hear the footsteps from people outside of my room. I felt like I was better then ever.
"The twins?" I asked, pacing over quickly to Heidi but she, Demetri, and Felix blocked the doorway. My soft gaze turned into a glare and a deep growl that only they could hear formed into my chest.
"What are you doing?" I asked lowly. Heidi took a deep breath and placed her hands on my arms.
"You need to feed before you see the twins... remember they are half human too."
My hard gaze turned soft and my stif body finally relaxed. I didn't know I went all defensive mode until Heidi said I needed to feed.
"Bring her in." Heidi told Felix. Felix smirked and ran off, but within seconds he was back with a human girl with a terrified look on her face.
I walked over to her and stared deep in her eyes. I pushed her head to the side and quickly bit her neck sucking off all the blood that was in her system. Her screams filled the room but after I was done, I snapped her neck and watched her fall to the ground.
"her screams were annoying." I said softly, wiping the blood off the corners of my mouth.
"Thank god she's dead." Jane said as she walked into the room. I looked at her and smiled, and she returned the favor, "you look good."
I shrugged, "I feel good."
"Oh my gosh.. my babies." I ran out of my room and saw Aro, holding both my kids. I smiled at him and slowly walked over, knowing that if my heartbeat was still beating, it'd be pumping like crazy.
