"Y/n! The letter came!"

Hearing my mother scream, I shot straight up from my bed, instantly waking up from my sleep. I have been waiting for a letter from San Francisco State University for a few weeks now. It's the only school I want to go to. Peter and I decided to go somewhere far, as much as he loved New York. He wanted something fresh, and so did I. So what better way to start fresh? San Francisco! It's beautiful over there. It'd kinda be like New York, probably more calm.

As I rushed down from my room (my room was literally the attic, I chose it because it was much bigger then my sibling's room), I ran into the kitchen, scaring my dog and my dad and sister in the process. My mom was the only one who had a huge grin on her face, holding the envelope out to me. I happily took it and rushed back to my room, pacing. I had to get into that college.

Taking a deep breath, I opened the envelope, did a little prayer and then read the letter. My breathing hitched and it went all quiet, then I let out a high pitched scream. I'm pretty sure I woke up the whole neighborhood but I didn't care. I quickly got ready and showed my parents the letter, jumping off the walls. My poor dog was still scared. Quickly I kissed my family goodbye and grabbed a waffle, stuffing it into my mouth. I rode my motorcycle to school as fast as I could and swiftly parked it, making heads turn. I turned off my engine and rushed off, running towards the school with my helmet still on. I was looking for Peter.

When my eyes landed on him, I sprinted towards him and jumped on him, screaming his name.

"Pettie!"

His arms instantly grasping my waist, he let out a small 'oof' then smiled wide, setting me down while I kicked my legs like a happy child.

"Hey! What's up?"

I raised the letter to eye level. He was a few inches taller then me.

"I got in!"

I watched his eyes flicker from my eyes to the letter and he took it from my hands, reading it. He's expression changed and he engulfed me into a tight hug, picking me up off the ground.

"Yes! We're going to San Francisco!" He cheered.

I laughed and pulled away when he set me back down, squeezing his arms. "The fresh start we wanted."

"We have to tell Mr. Stark and the rest of the Avengers," he said. His eyes started to widened, the way he would get when he was about to start rabbling.

"Ok we will after school," I laughed, "right now we have class."

"Right right!"

"Y/n c'mon!"

Huffing, I pulled my backpack over my shoulder and rushed behind Peter who was already inside the Avenger's compound.
