"Hello hello where is my favorite girl?!" I heard someone say as they opened my front door.
"Right here!" My little girl said as she pushed me down back on the couch since I was trying to make my way towards Tom.
I faked a gasp and watched Kinsley run up to his arms, wrapping her little arms around his neck.
"Oh wow thanks for pushing me Kins."
Kinsley looked back at me and giggled, "Sorry mommy."
I smiled and walked over to her and Tom, giving him a hug.
"How was the flight?" I asked him as he placed my daughter down. Tom looked at me and shrugged.
"It was alright I'm a bit tired but I still made time to come here and see my favorite girl."
Kinsley smiled up at Tom and then hugged his leg, "I missed you so much Tommy!"
"Ooh darling I missed you too but guess what," he said bending down to her level.
"What!"
"I bought you a necklace! Now when I leave, you can look at this necklace and think of me, you can even open it."
Tom pulled out a small locket necklace that had a red diamond on it in the middle and I smiled. It was the sweetest gift and I smiled even more when Kinsley squealed and began to shake in excitement. She really loved Tom, she saw him as a father figure too. Always asked if he was ok or when he was gonna come and visit, even Nikki wants me to drop her off just to spend time with her because apparently Tom just won't stop talking about us. It's amazing and it makes my heart swell.
"Look mommy it has a picture of you and Tom!"
I chuckled and bended down to her level, "really? Show me!"
Kins showed me the locket and I smiled softly when I saw the pic. It was Tom and I at the hospital when Kinsley was born... that day was very special to me.
"Did you know that when you were finally born, I held you and started to crying like a baby?"
Kinsley gasped, "you did?!"
Tom gave her a nod, "oh yeah! You're mummy told me to stop because I looked ugly."
I laughed and flipped my hair over my shoulder, finally standing up, "I was tired but yes you did look ugly, cried more then you Kins."
Kinsley giggled and let Tom place the necklace around her neck.
"Ok kiddo time for bedtime, why don't you let Tom tuck you in?"
