Harrison you look good in that black dress love.
I looked up from my phone to Harrison who was sitting across from me at the table we were sitting in the club and I bit my lip. I was about to text him back until I saw the bubble sign appear on my phone again.
Harrison I think I have a pretty good guess of what's underneath...
My eyes widened and I took a sip of my water before feeling someone's foot slightly nudge mine.
Y/n Harrison stop it
He smirked and typed away on his phone.
Harrison Oh please, Tom is in the bathroom don't worry baby
I softly smiled at his text and I heard him chuckle softly across from me, until my phone was snatched from hand that I panicked a little 'til I realized it was Y/b/f glaring at both of us.
"You two better knock it off! I can smell the affair off of you two, and Tom will figure this out sooner or later!" She warned us.
She didn't agree with my choices but she's my best friend.
Harrison pursed his lips and I bit mine. As much as I wanted to end what I was doing with Haz, I couldn't.. I just loved the way he held me, kissed me, touched me, and made me feel. It was different from what I ever had.
Or maybe it's the idea of doing something wrong, making it exciting.
"You won't say anything right?" Harrison asked looking around making sure Tom wasn't near. Y/b/f scoffed and deleted my convo with Haz from my phone.
"Oh please I'm not that fucked up, I've done worse that I'm not proud but I love Y/n. However if you two don't calm down. He will find out and so will the others."
Y/b/f handed me my phone back and I mouthed a 'thank you' to her.
"You're welcome, now I will be back with a beer and two sex on the beach."
Y/b/f walked off and I looked at Haz feeling a bit uncomfortable, maybe I should end my relationship with Tom.
"I think I'm gonna end it."
Harrison quickly sat up and leaned forwarded, "What?! us?!"
I slightly chuckled but went back to frowning, "no I mean Tom and I.. I love him Haz but I'm in love you." I looked up at him and I swear I could see a sparkle form in his eyes.
"Baby! Come here I wanna show something." I heard Tom yell, yanking me away from the moment I was having with Harrison. I was pulled onto my feet and Harrison followed slowly behind us.
"Let's give it up for Tom and Y/n!" The DJ yelled and so did everyone else in the club, "he has a little surprise for her."
My eyes widened after he said those words and I looked at Tom with a bit of panic in my eyes.
"Y/n.. I have loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you.. and as cliché as that may sound, it's true."
My breathe got stuck in my throat when I watched Tom get down on one knee, "I know you are meant to be with me, and I know I'm meant to be yours. Proposing at a club isn't the best proposal but I love you."
Tom grabbed my hand and pulled out a beautiful ring that was gorgeous. He held my hand tightly and looked up at me with his puppy dog eyes.
"Will you marry me?"
Behind him was Harrison and Y/b/f holding our drinks. Harrison pleaded me with his eyes to say no and so was Y/b/f, but I just didn't have the heart too.
"Yes." I mumbled, out of breathe. Y/b/f dropped our drinks and I saw Harrison clench his fist. Tom stood up with a huge smile on his face and placed the ring on my finger. I gave Tom a big kiss and then pulled him into a tight hug.
So much for ending our relationship...
After dancing for like an hour, I stepped outside and took a deep breathe. I can't believe I'm engaged.. engaged to a guy I don't even love.
"What the fuck Y/n!" Harrison said, storming out of the club. I quickly grabbed his hand and dragged him to a dark alley behind a brick wall.
"Harrison don't yell please I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what? Getting my hopes up and then shattering them? You said you loved me."
I grabbed his hands and scooted closer to him, "I do! I do love you but Haz... I couldn't say no."
"You could have said maybe Y/n, you could have said you needed time to think."
I let out a sigh and gave Harrison a nod. He was right I could have said no or that I needed time but.. I didn't.
"I'm sorry."
"Run away with me" Harrison said as held me close and cupped my face, "give you time to think, just say you're going to visit Y/b/f's family with her and we could go anywhere... just you and me."
I stared into his eyes for a second before nodding my head and giving him a big smile.
