"Where is she?" Nick barked, as the Avengers came back from another mission of trying to find Y/n.
"We couldn't find her." Steve said softly as he was disappointed in himself.
"You had one job!" Nick scolded, "I did everything I could for that girl to have a good life after what she has been through and you lose her!"
"Um excuse me?" Tony stepped in, "it's not our fault she's a stubborn brat!"
"We are her family!" Nick yelled, "we raised her since she was a baby! And then we pushed her away! This is our fault!"
Natasha walked away which made Steve call out and reach for her but she ignored him. She loved Y/n so much but she didn't know she was avoiding her. Not until Y/n left with Enchantress.
Nick closed his eyes and took a deep breath to prevent himself from yelling even more. Y/n was one of the people he cared for very deeply and he knew she didn't like it when he raised his voice.
"We need to find her." He finally said, "that girl needs us, she needs a family and we are her family."
He faced the Avengers and gave them a nod, "we'll look for her tomorrow."
• Y/n's POV •
Another day as I watched my old family walk by me and thanks to my illusions, it was easy to hide from them. But it gets tiring sometimes as I know Wanda can sense my magic so I have to block her.
I walked to the underground house Amora made for herself and I, and greeted her when I walked in the door.
"I saw them again." I told her, taking off my jacket.
She looked at me and slightly growled, "we will have them on their knees for us."
"Is that so?" Loki asked as he walked into the room.
I smiled once I saw him, "Hey uncle Loki."
"Hello sweetheart," he smiled at me.
"Yes we will have them on their knees one by one." Amora spoke, walking towards us. "They want her and we want the world, we with, our powers can stop them."
Loki smirked, "as long as I get what I want, I don't care." He looked at me and then pulled me close, "but what I do care is what happens to her. Nothing happens to her."
Amora gave him a sly smirk, "you got it."
The rest of the day I spend it in my room, going over the places where most people go in New York. I sat on the center of my bed and put my hands over the map that was in front of me. I closed my eyes and felt myself reaching for those places, reaching for the people that were there.
But there was this particular place that had me drawn. A sandwich place.
