(A/n: this is part 2 of My Love, My Life)
"Are you sure you're ready to announce the whole world why you disappeared for almost a year and half?" Gina asked, fluffing out my pink floral lace-y dress.
I swallowed deeply and nodded my head. When Tom and I broke up, I disguised myself because of my pregnancy. I bought myself a small house so nobody would know I moved. I wore wigs because I couldn't dye my hair and I didn't want to cut it either, and I wore heavy make up that I don't wear at all whenever I went out.
I "disappeared" for the sake of my baby... and because I still cared for Tom back then. He was starting to get more movie deals and I didn't want to see him through my pregnancy, knowing he was going to be apart of it... but not in the way I wanted him to be.
"Yeah!" I said nervously, still nodding my head, "yeah!... yeah.... oh my god I'm so nervous I haven't sang in front of a crowd in a while!"
I cupped my face and started to take deep breaths, Gina grabbed my wrists and held them close to her.
"You got this Y/n. This isn't the hardest thing you have ever done."
I gave her nod and she led me to the car that was waiting for me outside. I waited for her inside while she got Victoria and I took deep breaths and was thinking how grateful I was that the people who arranged the awards show kept my comeback a secret.
I was going to announce that I was pregnant and had a child.
Gina came back with Victoria and I instantly got a smile on my face when I saw my sleeping girl.
"She looks so cute." I said, caressing my finger against her cheek.
The car started moving and I kept going over the song until I got to the red carpet. I took a deep breath and looked at Gina who gave me a huge smile.
"Remember, walk in when everybody has already gone inside ok? And cover Victoria."
Gina grabbed on to my shoulders, "go."
I smiled and slightly knocked on the window to let the chauffeur know I wanted to be out. He opened the door and helped me out of the car. Everyone turned around to look at me and then suddenly the shouting got louder.
"Y/n! Y/n! Where have you been?"
"Did you disappear because of Tom?!"
"Look over here Y/n!"
"Are you dating anyone?!"
"Y/n! Y/n!"
Is all I heard.
I walked down the red carpet with a smile and every once and a while waved here and there. I posed, I ignored getting interviewed, and made my way inside to the backstage where I was going to be until I was set to perform.
