Magnolia TVC taping:

"Nay, okay lang po ba itong suot ko?" I heard you ask Nanay.

"Oo naman, anak. Bagay na bagay sa'yo. Ang ganda-ganda ng Menggay ko eh." Nanay answered.

"Thank you, Nay. Mana po ako sa inyo." You giggled at her as she cupped your cheeks like a little girl.

Tatay who was sitting beside you chuckled. "Nambola pa oh. Naglalambing lang yang anak mo, Meann."

"Tay naman eh. Masaya lang po ako sobra dahil first time po na magkakasama tayo ng ganito sa trabaho." You smiled up to him and hugged his arm as you leaned your head on his shoulder.

"Masaya din kami, anak." He smiled and gently patted the top of you head.

It was such a touching sight to see you contentedly sitting between your doting parents. I couldn't say I didn't feel a little sad because I couldn't have that moment with my parents anymore but I was very happy for you.

"Artista na kami ng Nanay. Akalain mo yun." He laughed.

"Oo nga pala!" Nanay exclaimed. "Trabaho nga pala ito. Mag-aartista nga pala tayo, Tay! Kinakabahan ako." She said.

"Nay, okay lang po yan. Tutulunga ko po ka..."

"RJ!" She called when she saw me quietly watching you from the other side of the room. "Halika, nak." She said and I was sure I heard a few delighted gasps and giddy giggles from everyone in the set.

I immediately walked over to where you were and I touched my forehead on your parents' hands as they offered them to me one at a time.

"Ayan na pala si RJ." Tatay said. "Buti na lang andito ka, nak. Matutulungan mo kami ng Nanay niyo."

"Sige po, Tay. Saan po ba?" I asked.

"Dito kasi sa script..." Tatay started before Nanay interrupted him.

"Uy! Teodoro, ako ang tumawag tapos ikaw unang magtatanong." She said as she got up from beside you and went to us, holding her script.

She sat beside me and now it was my turn to be surrounded by them, asking questions left and right and smiling at me. I felt my heart be filled with warmth as I gladly answered their questions.

"Tignan mo sila. Nakalimutan na ako agad. Nay, alam ko po si RJ talaga ang expert pero pwede ko din po kayo magtanong sa akin." You pouted.

"Pagti-tripan mo lang kami ng Tatay mo sigurado tapos iku-kwento mo sa mga kapatid mo at pagkakatuwaan niyo na naman kami. Wag na lang." Nanay answered.

"Nay, naman. Wala po ba kayong tiwala sa akin? Tay oh." You frowned and crossed your arms across your chest. Your lips were still pouting and you looked so darned adorable.

"Anak, pasensiya na pero kampi muna ako sa Nanay ngayon ha?" Tatay calmly said.

"Fine." You stood up and stomped your feet. "Dun na ako kina Tita Lia. Papaampon na ako dun mukhang napalitan na ako dito." You said and marched away.

Tatay and Nanay simply shook their heads and chuckled while I was on the verge of panic.

"Umupo ka lang diyan, nak." Nanay told me when she saw that I was about to go after you. "Mahirap suyuin ang nagtatampu-tampuhan." She giggled and continued reading her script.

I smiled at her response and glanced at you but you rolled your eyes at me. "Ganoon ha? Mamaya ka sa akin." I mumbled.

"Anong mamaya?" Tatay asked.

"Tay! Ano po... Sabi ko po mamaya kakausapin ko si Menggay." I answered nervously.

"Oo. Mamaya na. Hayaan mo muna kumain siya ng ice cream doon, lalamig din ulo niyan." He said. "Okay. Ano na susunod?" He asked.

"Bale, Tay, hindi naman po kailangan word for word eksakto ang pag-memorize ng script. Karamihan sa mga unang sumasabak sa pag-arte takot makalimot kahit isang word lang kaya pilit ang pagbato ng linya. Mas maganda pong gawin na i-relate yung eksena at mga linya sa experience sa totoong buhay kahit medyo relate lang po basta makatulong sa inyo na matandaan yung mga linya." I explained and Tatay carefully listened while browsing through the script.

"Alam ko na! Napakadali lang naman pala nito. Meron akong personal experience na eksakto sa eksena natin." He beamed.

"Nung namanhikan po ba kayo kina Nanay, Tay?" I asked.

"Yun. At may mas eksakto pa. Nung namanhikan kayo sa Bulacan at pinakilala sa buong angkan ng mga Capili at Mendoza." Tatay said.

"Oo nga po, Tay. Ganitong-ganito din po yun." I grinned. "Christmas nga lang po ang eksena natin dito."

"Oo. At hindi nga lang pa-piyesta sa baranggay ang pasalubong mo kundi ice cream." Tatay added. "Sana sa Pasko magkatotoo itong tradisyon sa script kasama ang buong pamilya mo din." He smiled.

I smiled back. "Sana nga po, Tatay. Gagawan ko po ng paraan."

"Mukhang tawag na tayo." Nanay told us and waved to call you.

You walked towards us, still pouting. "So kilala niyo pa pala ako. Kasali pa pala ako dito." You sighed.

"Hay naku! Tampo pa din ang Menggay namin. I-kiss mo nga Tisoy." Tatay said.

"Halaaah... Si Tatay. Ayoko nga." You pouted and blushed, tucking your hair behind your ear.

"Orti-orti." He chuckled and slightly pushed me towards you which I took as an opportunity to throw myself and hug you.

"Ayaaaan... Di na yan tatampo. Kiss." Nanay giggled.

"Si Nanay oh parang bata." You giggled and looked into my eyes.

"I love you." I whispered and smiled.

"I love you." You smiled back before giving me a quick peck on the lips and a hug.

The room was filled with giddy shrieks followed by complete silence.

"Okay, people, back to work. Sa next commercial na yang ganyang eksena." The director ordered.
