I can tell by the way you sighed deeply and half-dragged your feet through the door that you were exhausted.

"Halika." I smiled as I rushed to your side, took your bag and hugged you by the waist as we walked inside your condo. "Pagod?"

You smiled softly and nodded then pressed a kiss on my cheek.

We walked to the couch where you slumped down to sit. I sat beside you and you immediately laid your head on my lap and the rest of your body along the couch with your feet on the arm rest. You closed your eyes and sighed as I pressed two fingers on each of your temples and started to move them in a circular motion. I instantly felt how warm your skin was against my touch.

"Mainit ka." I observed.

I continued to knead your temples then raked my fingers on your scalp. The satisfied moan that escaped your luscious lips made my stomach tie up in knots and blood rush through my veins. It also told me that your voice was hoarse.

I nervously cleared my throat before speaking. "Paos ka na din. Kumain ka na?" I asked and pressed your temples again.

"Mmm... yes..." You moaned.

"Nak naman nang..." I muttered under my breath.

"What?" You asked with your eyes still closed and sighed.

"Wala. Sabi ko. Saan ka kumain?"

"Nakahabol pa ng ramen after the shoot. Pasara na sana sila pero buti na lang they served me pa dahil kung hindi uuwi akong gutom at pagod." You chuckled.

"I'm ready for both." I smirked.

"Always are." You smiled. "Thank you, Love."

"Always welcome." I smiled. "Bakit ba kasi hindi ka na din nagpapahinga? Mula Canada, diretso sa Bulaga tapos buong araw na shoot kinabukasan, nagkakasakit ka na tuloy."

"Kailangan bumawi eh. Haba ng bakasyon. Tsaka para makaipon."

"Ipon?" I asked.

"Yup." You grinned up at me.

"Para saan? Ako na bibili." I frowned.

"Ano ba?" I giggled. "Sugar Daddy ba kita?"

"Pwede naman kung gusto mo. Basta you're my baby." I grinned and caressed your cheek, making you laugh.

"Ang dirty mo." You giggled and hit my arm then closed your eyes again. You turned to your side and hugged my waist. "Hindi gamit ang pinagiipunan ko." You said.

"Kung hindi gamit? Ano naman?" I asked as I gently stroked your hair and cheek.

"Kasal." You smiled softly with your eyes still closed and my heart danced in celebration.

I fought back my tears as a wide smile tugged at the edges of my mouth. I didn't think you still had it in your mind after what happened. I thought we were back to square one and I was willing to work my way to where we were before.

"Kasal." I echoed in a whisper.

You hummed a soft affirmative response and yawned as you snuggled closer to my body. "I love you, RJ. Hindi na magbabago yun. Ikaw lang ang gusto kong makasama habang buhay." You mumbled, trying to stay awake although I could sense you slowly drifting off to sleep.

I leaned to kiss your temple and whisper in your ear. "I love you more, Menggay ko. Ikaw lang. Kahit ilang habang buhay pa."

You smiled softly and wrapped your arms around my neck which told me that you heard my response. I circled my arms around your waist and held you in my arms as you nuzzled in my neck like a baby. I lay back with you with me.

"My baby..." I chuckled softly.

And I will always take care of you, my Nicomaine. Forever.

We slept peacefully that night, cuddled on the couch with you snuggled on my chest and my chin nestled in your hair, without a care in the world but you and me.
