Chapter 27⇨ Avoid the Truth

Junhyeong's POV

★Knock knock knock★

"It's open"

"Seorin, can I talk to for a minute?" I said while I was walking inside Seorin's room. I saw her lying down on her bed.

"What is it, Appa?" She asked.

I sat down on the side of her bed.

"I heard from Sangmin that someone came here to see her" I started.

"Oh, it was Minsoo. She already know that Sangmin is here. They met at the convenient store" Seorin answered.

"Did anything happened when she was here?" I asked her again.

"Minsoo came here to confirm something, but don't worry Appa, I took care of it" Seorin explained.

"Did you explained to Sangmin about what you said?" I asked her again. There I noticed that her expression suddenly changed. She seems to be annoyed at what I asked her.

"I thought that I would not be able to explain everything to her so I told her to ask you instead" she said while putting her headphones again.

This child of mine, I know that somehow she's still mad at her sister. She blamed Sangmin for the death of Soojin.

After she answered my question and put on her headphones, I went out of her room. I know that she will no longer answer my questions properly if ever I asked her again.

When will Seorin ever forgive her sister?

☆After 2 days☆

Sangmin si being strage lately. Everytime I talk to her or even call her, she always avoid me.

Is this because of what we did? I think she's having a hard time taking in everything that I told her. I know it's hard to take it in, the fact that we didn't try hard enough to find her.

Even I would not forgive myself for what I have done. She may have thought that the company might be more important than her.

What shall I do? I can't think of another way for her to forgive me. And if ever I thought of something, an emergency would co—

★Riiiinnnnggg riiiiinnnnnggg★

See, an emergency just came. I picked up the phone to know who was calling me.

"Yeobohsehyo" I answered.

"Sir, your appointment for the 친친  assembly is set this afternoon. You are needed right now in the office" my secretary called and said that I was needed in the office.

I went to my room to get changed. Even though I don't want to leave home, I have to. I can't let our company down. I grew up and was taught to take care of it.

"Sangmin, I'm going out for a while. You'll be okay here, won't you?" I saw Sangmin in the living room. She was just sitting at the sofa, watching cartoon movies.

I know that she doesn't really understand what is said in the movie but it is the only thing that she enjoys to watch.

I saw her laugh but her smile disappeared when she saw me. She might have noticed that I was looking at her so she smiled back, awkwardly.

"Y-yes.... A-Aboji.... I'll be fine" Sangmin answered. I just smiled back. At least she aswered me.

Sangmin's POV

Ano na ba talaga ang ginagawa ko? Bakit ganito ang inaasal ko kay Aboji? Sa kanila na nga lang ako nakikitira, may lakas ng loob pa akong gawin ito sa kanila.
