Chapter 23⇨ Hospitalized

Jin's POV

We were just in the middle of our rehearsal when our manager called for me and said that my sister was at the phone.

Who could it be? Would it be Sangmin? No, she still doesn't know how to contact me. This could be Seorin. Why would she call me at this hour?

"Hello" I answered the phone. I can hear from the other line that the person calling is running.

"Oppa, you need to help me!" I can hear Seorin's breath from the other line of the phone. Is there something wrong with her?

"What is it?" I immediately asked her. It sounds like she's in trouble.

"I can't find Sangmin" she stated while breathing heavily.

From the moment that I heard Sangmin's name, I felt that, time suddenly stopped in front of me.

"Where are you?" I asked her.

"I'm here at the 지성 convenient store. Ppalliyo, Oppa!" The moment she said the address, I rushed to my manager and asked him to excuse me for today.
"Is everything alright, hyung?" Jungkook asked me. I was in a hurry so I didn't answer his question.

I immediately rushed to my car. This can't be!! I'm just beginning to know her better. Why would this happen??

This seems so familiar to me. It's like everything is happening all over again. This can't be!! Not this time!! I can't lose her again.

Not now!! Nor ever!! I lost her once, I can't lose her again!! It's like hurting me all over again.

I finally saw Seorin in front of the convenient store standing worriedly. I parked my car at the parking area of the convenient store to meet Seorin.

"What happened? Why is she missing?" That was the very first thing I asked her.

"She said that she was going to buy something at the convenient store. I tried to warn her that it was far but she insisted. I went after her but she walked fast. I lost her... I've been looking for her for an hour" she explained.

"She won't ride a taxi for sure. So she might just walked. Let's find her, she won't go far by foot" I stated then got in the car.

Seorin sat in the passenger seat then I start the engine. We first go to the streets where she might have gone.

There are many streets here so we tried every street. This will take us forever to find her, but I'm not losing hope. We will find her.

On the third street that we tried, we saw a girl. I stopped the car to asked her. I realized that this girl was Minsoo.

Minsoo was our childhood friend. She was pretty much Sangmin's bestfriend.

"Minsoo, have you seen a girl past by here?" I asked her. She was surprised to see me.

"Seokjin oppa!! Seorin eonni!! It's been a long time" she greeted us.

"Were in a hurry, Minsoo" Seorin answered her.

"Ah, oh by the way. I haven't heard much about Sangmin. Did she studied abroad? I saw her a while ago, but it seems like she doesn't remember me" we were surprised of what she said.

"Where did she went?" I asked her.

"She went that way" then Minsoo pointed the way.

"Minsoo, Gomawoyo" after thanking her, I started the engine again then went to the street where Minsoo pointed at.

We drived slowly because this street is narrow. Seorin and I kept a sharp eye in finding Sangmin.

It's beginning to get dark. We need to find Sangmin right away. It won't be good for a girl to still be outside in this hour at this kind of street.
