CHAPTER FORTY

"We should have a girls' night out!" Roxie claps her hands together as everybody lounge around the beach house as a new episode of Family Matters was resonating throughout the room.

"Yeah, definitely!" Iesha gleefully agreed as Naomi nodded her head along to the plan as Lola just simply gave them a small smile as she laid her head on Jojo's shoulder as he ran his fingers through her long jet black tresses.

"What y'all need a girls' night out for?"
K-Ci chuckle as DeVante nodded his head along to what he just said.

"The same reason why niggas' go out... to have a little fun besides I heard Bobby Brown is coming to do a concert and you know I'm trying to get grind on!" Iesha squeals as she started practice how she was going to act if Bobby asks her to come on stage with him.

"That nigga, seriously? That nigga's gap is as big as the fucking Grand Canyon"
K-Ci waves her off as Iesha rolls her eyes at him.

"Oh whatever, at least he has a nice built on him unlike your ass being built like a damn microphone and shit." Everybody went silent as they listened to the exchange of words between Iesha and K-Ci closely.

The only whom of which wasn't paying attention to their exchange was Emilio who was zoned out as he watched the television as he sat in the couch beside Naomi whom of which leaned off of him as she payed close attention to Iesha and K-Ci's exchange of words to each other at the moment.

"Why are you so hostile? Why are overreacting about Bobby CrackHead Brown?" K-Ci furrow his brows as Iesha just stared at him.

"Whatever, I don't even know who invited you into the conversation anyway because you can see your way out of it because as far as I am concern your name is not Naomi, Lola, or Roxie and you are definitely not a girl so honey you can go on about your business. Don't look like that big fella" Iesha vocalize as DeVante snickers beside him as Iesha completely bodied his whole existence.

"What crawled up your ass and died? Did somebody piss in your cereal or something?" K-Ci inquires in concern for Iesha.

"Nah, now if you excuse me I am finna go lay down. Girls, we'll have our discussion about my husband Bobby again later... wouldn't want anybody to start bitching about him" Iesha shot K-Ci a glare as she gets up and walks over to the stairs as she goes up them, one by one until she vanished.

"What the hell is her problem?" K-Ci asks out of nowhere as everybody shrugs their shoulders with no response whatsoever.

"Aye, Elephant... Oh shit I mean Emilio, what's wrong with your sister?" DeVante solicits as Naomi shakes Emilio to get his attention as he finally tore his eyes away from the television and looks over at DeVante.

"Huh? Oh, it's no telling with her sometimes. Hell, every time I try to ask her about something she just ends up shutting me down" Emilio shrugs his shoulders.
