CHAPTER EIGHTY-ONE

year skip, april second
nineteen ninety-two

A year and a few months have past by Hillman University than anyone could anticipated as normalcy was gradually coming back to Naomi and her friends.

It's true relationships and friendships were broken, rekindled and left with unforeseen questions but that's just a average day for anyone.

Yeah, it was brand new spanking year and Naomi has so much on her mind such as being in charge of booking Tupac to come and perform for this charitable event to raise awareness to sexual assault with Dalvin as a speaker for the event.

Naomi couldn't be more proud of Dalvin as was take the intuitive to speak out about what happened to him and many others, he felt like it was his sworn duty to be a spokesperson about everything that he endured no matter what people may say or think of him.

Naomi found herself organizing things in the auditorium of the huge university as many other students set up for the charitable concert that was only a few days away and by any means necessary Naomi wanted everything in tip-top shape.

"Ayo, Naomi! Where you want Rashaad and I to put this at?" Caleb and Rashaad held up signs in both of their arms that read 'Sexual Assault Awareness Month'.

Naomi advert her eyes over to the two males as she tucks a lock of her hair behind her ear following by twisting up her lips as she tries to think of a good spot for them to place the signs and nail them down.

"Just nail them on the wall by the two entrances on the left and the right" Naomi smiles at the two as they nodded their heads and soon went their separate ways in order to hang the signs up for all to see.

"Naomi, we did it! Tupac is going to be here!" Iesha squealed in delight as Naomi soon noticed her as K-Ci was not to far along as he shakes his head as Iesha starts fan-girling about the hot, new and young rapper that has been making groundbreaking music for the past year now.

"That's awesome, Iesha! Oh my God, thank you so much! You have no idea how much of a lifesaver you are! Phew!" Naomi wiped the invisible sweat off her forehead as she felt relived.

It was a brand new year and so far these past months for her have been very blissful and no drama has entice her life or the lives of her friends, it seems like everything was finally working out the very best.

"Yes, girl! It was hard trying to book him because ever since Pac's first album, 2Pacalypse Now, everybody been trying to book him for shows and everything!" Iesha gushed as K-Ci soon cleared his throat rather loudly in annoyance.

Naomi noticed this and puts on a cheeky grin as she slowly gets up and dust herself off following by crossing her arms, walking pass a confused Iesha over to a jealous K-Ci.

"Ohhhh, is somebody jealous?" Naomi teased him as K-Ci gives her a side eye whilst turning his head swiftly to avoid her silly gaze upon him.
