Hey shippers! I enjoyed writing that, but it also made me really sad. I don't mean to make you cry into the covers or into some guy's flannel shirt or anything (oh yes, I reference my own works), but I thought about what Jemma would be feeling. What would you do if your 'bestest friend in the whole wide world' told you you were more than that to him or her? I think she cares about him more than she thinks she does, but isn't sure in what way she cares about him.
Now I want to do a weekly series following Simmons' life without Fitz. I'll try to not make you cry every week. Sorry for that, again. The series will be called "Jemma's Journey" and will start after the most recent chapter. I'll interrupt the series with tiny oneshots about Fitzsimmons at the academy or Fitzsimmons in the future. Whatever I think of to write about, I will write it down for you fabulous shippers!
