Episode Review

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My reaction to this episode can be summarized as the word "no".

First off, it was lacking any Fitzsimmons interaction. I REPEAT, NO FITZSIMMONS INTERACTION. AND THERE WASN'T EVEN MENTIONS OF THE OTHER ONE. I mean, hoorah! Progress for Fitz! But showing no reaction from Jemma was a bad decision. Even some brief staring at each other as they pass in the lab would be acceptable.

And Ward! I don't know how to feel about Ward. He's insane, I think. Please, someone pro-redemption-curve explain to me why Ward is a good person. As of now, I will dislike him and not want him anywhere near the team. Or any other humans.

Skye's dad is on nobody's side. He just wants explanation and his daughter. I think he hates Whitehall more than Coulson, though. So he will hopefully side with the team when the time comes. You must remember that he doesn't want power. And he saved Trip. All he wants is a family, and I think that's reasonable. Maybe the revenge on Whitehall isn't reasonable, but wanting to see Skye is.

Bakshi. I was starting to like him, so of course he died. I trust Bobbi's interrogation methods.

We all knew the Lance/Bobbi hookup was going to happen. They hate each other too much to not love each other. Hate is too strong an emotion to waste on someone you don't like.

Trip needs to get better. I fear Fitz will think it's his fault, and it will hurt a lot of the team.

I don't think Jemma's brainwashed, since they made a joke about it. I feel like if she had been, they would want a huge, out-of-the-blue reveal.

Skye is fab. May is doing office work again, which I'm not very happy about, but I also think is cute.

I believe in Coulson. I'd trust him, even if he was mentally unstable. I think Coulson's main trait is his compassion and care towards others. And nothing can take away that strive to do what's best for his team, not even insanity. So I trust him completely.

I can't wait to see Ward and Skye's dad interact. They probably both hate Whitehall, and will branch off from their assignment to instead work on capturing Skye.

Whitehall is despicable. No experimentation, please.
