Episode Review

SPOILERS FOR ONE DOOR CLOSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT WAS THE BEST EPISODE OF THE SEASON. THERE WAS ALMOST A PERFECT BALANCE OF ALL OF THE STORYLINES AND AMAZING SPECIAL EFFECTS AND AMAZING WRITING AND JUST AMAZING LITTLE FACTS LIKE FITZ AND SKYE WATCHING PARANORMAL ACTIVITY TOGETHER AND GLUTEN FREE BISCUITS.

Okay, I need to stop using all caps for these things.

Skye is absolutely my favorite character. I love her collaboration with Gordon, and I trust him completely (oddly enough). It was like a horror movie with her all night, and she handled it so well. Props to Chloe's acting.

That cabin was used by both Cap and Hulk, and now Skye. Oh my goodness that is too cool.

I'm in love with May and Coulson being such good parents to the kids. Also, I'm so proud of Lance choosing the right side. Does anyone even like the real shield? Because, honestly, they aren't even competition to Coulson's team. Are they supposed to seem in competition?

I still am unsure about Bobbi. I love her and Izzy's relationship, but I'm not sure about her blind following of Coulson, you know?

Mack is making it hard to hate him, from his backstory to saving Fitz. I'm giving him some trust, I think. I just can't deal with the fact that Fitz could've been in Mack's position if it weren't for Simmons.

Now I can get into Fitzsimmons!!!

LEO. SHE CALLED HIM LEO, JUST LIKE THAT ONE SHOT I WROTE DURING HIATUS.

AND THEY SAT TOGETHER WHEN THE REAL SHIELD INVADED AND SHE HELD HIS HAND AND SHE ASKED HIM FOR PERMISSION BEFORE LEAVING AND THEY'RE DESTINED TO BE CANON. I MEAN THEY CAN'T EVEN STAY MAD AT EACH OTHER.

Also, Simmons is such a clever badass. I adore her. I think she's going to change her views on Skye when she sees how the real shield was going to treat her.

I still laugh at the real shield. Like, it's just hilarious to me.
