Okay so MAJOR SPOILERS FOR SHADOWS!
THE WRITERS WERE CRUEL. THAT WAS SO CRUEL. THEY GIVE US CUTE SCENES AND THEN JUST SAY, "NOPE. NOT REAL."
I'M SO UPSET. STILL WILL BE FOR AWHILE.
Also, remember not to blame Jemma for this. She left for a good reason. Coulson said she thought it would be best for Fitz. She was trying.
Now, the team, you can be mad at. WHY DOES NO ONE CARE ABOUT FITZ? SERIOUSLY?! JUST SAY HE'S BROKEN AND NOT TRY AND FIX IT? DON'T EVEN INFORM SIMMONS? DON'T TALK TO HIM AT ALL? JUST IGNORE HIM?
COULSON? WHY ARE YOU NOT DOING BETTER? I'm partially kidding. I love Coulson, but don't just push Fitz off to the side, especially since he's basically the only remaining engineer you can trust. At least try.
And Skye, how could you let this happen? And May? And Triplet? Even freaking Lance Hunter is human enough to care, so why didn't he?
Did you all like the new characters? I think they definitely have room for development, but so far they seem defined. I just want the writers to make sure the original team stays in the spotlight.
And I'm proud of the writers for at least making sure Fitzsimmons was relevant.
