Quick Note: These always start out nice and funny, then I make them all deep and kind of sad. Yay for trying to make a fic meaningful at the very end!

"YOU DID NOT!" Skye shouted louder than she could help. Simmons shushed her as Fitz peered around the corner into her bunk, where Simmons and Skye were having their first official girl's night. Fitz wanted to be invited, but after an hour-long fight with Simmons over the meaning of 'girl's night' he reluctantly agreed to swap a movie night with Simmons for a manly-drinking night with Ward. Fitz didn't like alcoholic beverages, though, so his evening had basically been an observation on the behaviors of an intoxicated Ward. When Ward had started complaining about the stress of hiding secret affairs from the team, Fitz decided to check out.

"You're the one that asked," Simmons continued, apparently not noticing Fitz's head poking into the bunk. "And it's not like it meant anything. The older students at the academy constantly teased us about it, that's all."

"What's going on?" Fitz interrupted nervously, and Skye turned to him with her mouth wide open.

"Hello, Fitz," Simmons greeted, rather indifferent. "I thought we had discussed the implications of 'Girl's Night', one of them being it's for girls only."

"Well Ward's so drunk he's muttering about espionage," Fitz retorted, then stepped into the room. Skye continued to stare. "I really can't take another minute of it. May I join you two?"

"Um, I think it would be better if you didn't," Simmons said, suddenly anxious. Fitz was just about to duck out of the tense room when Skye lurched forward and grabbed his wrist.

"Take a seat, Fitz," she insisted, and Simmons glared at her obviously. "We need a third person for this game I have planned."

Fitz looked uncomfortable, and so did Simmons, but he complied. So Fitz, Simmons, and Skye sat in a circle on Simmons' bunk and began to play some party game Simmons was certain was
completely made up.

"It's called 'Never Have I Ever'. You usually play it with alcohol, but since you too really aren't in to that, we'll just count on our fingers instead." Neither Fitz nor Simmons knew much about this game, yet they still were completely against it. "Hold up five fingers. Now we go around the circle, and we each say something we have never done. For example, never have I ever graduated from a S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy."

"That explains why you're the only one that knows how to play this," Fitz added, and Simmons laughed. Skye rolled her eyes and continued with directions.

"Since you have both done what I said, you put a finger down. The objective is to be the last person with fingers up, got it?"

The two scientists nodded, then Simmons inquired, "How exactly would you play this with alcohol?", to which Skye dismissed with a "You don't want to know. Fitz, you're up."

Fitz stuttered slightly, then said, "Never have I ever studied biochemistry." Simmons put another finger down, but not before objecting that he had indeed studied biochemistry when they helped each other memorize before finals week.

Simmons quickly bounced back with, "Never have I ever hacked a computer." Fitz and Skye both put down a finger.

Skye then decided it was time to change the course of the game. "Never have I ever had a crush on a friend." Fitz put down a finger with a small embarrassed grin, but Simmons kept her three up. Skye grinned at Fitz in an I-knew-it sort of way, but Simmons seemed not to notice.

Fitz caught on to Skye's trend, and said, "Never have I ever been in a romantic relationship with someone." Both Simmons and Skye put down a finger, and Simmons complained about the unfairness of the statement.
