Abu-Abu.
Yang paling mudah kita hadapi dalam hidup adalah segala sesuatu yang hitam atau putih. Kalau hitam, ya hitam; kalau putih, ya putih. Dengan demikian, kita tahu jelas bagaimana menyikapinya. Susahnya, banyak hal dalam kehidupan ini bukan hitam putih, tetapi abu-abu. Abu-abu menyodorkan ketidak-pasti-an. Lantas harus bagaimana menyikapinya? Diambil atau tidak? Dipilih atau ditolak? Digenggam atau dilepaskan? Tidak tahu.
Gray
The easiest thing we face in life is anything that is black or white. If black, truly black; if white, truly white. Thus, we know clearly how to respond. Unfortunately, many things in life are not black or white; rather, gray. Gray suggests uncertainty. Then how to react to this? Take it or leave it? Choose it or reject it? Grasp it or release it? To which all these questions, we do not possess the answer.
