The next day - at night

N: B I gotta go or I'll be late

Nicki said in Beyoncé's embrace. Beyoncé tried to hug her for as long as possible. She wanted to be there with Nicki but she had to finish some orders and Nicki didn't want to stop her grind just to make her sit there in the club until midnight.

B: okaaaaaaay

Beyoncé said in a baby voice earning a giggle from Nicki. She cupped her chin and squeezed her cheeks.

N: I'll be back in a couple hours I'll be fine

B: call me if anything goes down

N: I will don't worry. I love you

She said getting her bag.

B:  I love you more

Nicki blew her a kiss before walking out the door. Beyoncé looked out the window seeing her get into her car and sighed as she returned to her fashion room to do some orders.

Strip club

Nicki was at her dressing table doing her makeup when this girl set her stuff down on what used to be Beyoncé's vanity. Nicki looked at her because she didn't recognise her. The girl looked down at Nicki and smiled.

?: washpoppin?

She had a thick New York accent and Nicki didn't really know how to reply.

N: hey...

She said carrying on with her makeup. The girl sat down and started doing her makeup minding her business until one of the managers came through.

S: Cardi?

?: right here!

The girl said turning around and waving. Nicki formed a little-amused look on her face before continuing her makeup routine.

S: here's your costumes for tonight. You're partnered with Nicki. Y'all are on first. You got 35 minutes

C: thanks

She said taking her costumes and putting them in the changing room. She came back and continued her makeup but made a few glances at Nicki.

C: so you Nicki?

She asked putting on her foundation. Nicki looked at her and looked back in her mirror.

N: yeah

Cardi nodded.

C: where you from?

N: Queens. You?

C: I'm just a regular degular shmegular girl from the Bronx.

She said as she blended her concealer. Nicki chuckled there was something about Cardi that was funny.

Cardi heard one of the girls on the other row talking about her. She was fine with Nicki laughing since she was talking to her and she knows she can be funny but she doesn't like it when she hears her name in a bitch's mouth that she doesn't know so she turned around.

C: any bitch gotta problem? Come on tell me any bitch?!

She said putting down her concealer and smacked her hands together and rubbed them. Like always with new girls, Keri had a problem with every single one. But Nicki didn't wanna step in this time, she felt like Cardi could handle herself anyways.

Keri looked at Cardi then rolled her eyes while doing a brief laugh.

C: bitch ya speak English?!! Or ya speak Spanish? Because I could translate!
