They dapped each other up and went their separate ways. Robert got the bus home and felt proud of himself for resisting the temptation. He really wanted his family back

SUMMER'S BIRTHDAY - A MONTH LATER

Everyone was over Beyoncé and Nicki's house to celebrate Summer's 5th birthday. Nicki was wondering why her dad was late and was hoping he didn't forget.

S: mommy where's grandpa?

N: he's coming baby he's just running a little late that's all

S: okay, can I have some cake?

N: you ain't having no cake until everyone sings happy birthday to you

She said rolling her neck at her

S: girl bye

She said doing the same thing making Nicki laugh. She loved when she does that.

A couple minutes later Robert knocked at the door and Nicki opened the door to see him holding a big box that was wrapped up.

R: sorry I'm late

N: it's fine come in

R: it was hard getting this thing on the bus

N: bus?

R: yeah I gotta get the bus to get here

N: why didn't you tell me? I could've picked you up

R: I figured you guys would be so focused on getting the party together. I didn't want to bother you

N: you don't bother me. But thank you for coming

She said hugging him after he put the box down.

R: I wouldn't miss this. Where is the birthday girl?

N: summer?!

Summer ran into the entrance and saw her grandpa which made her smile

N: look who's here!

S: grandpa!

She cheered as she ran towards him. He picked her up and kissed her cheek.

R: hey princess happy birthday!

S: thank you. What you get me?!

She said excitedly making them both laugh

R: you wanna open it?

S: yeah!

N: uh uh you're opening your gifts after you have your cake

S: mommyyyyyyy

She whined

N: don't mommy me and show grandpa to the kitchen.

Summer pouted as she saw Nicki put the box on the gift table which was sky high. She showed her grandpa to the kitchen where Carol, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Cardi were. Carly and summer went to play with summers cousins out in the backyard leaving the adults alone.

Robert hugged and kissed carols cheek.

R: you look beautiful
