N: you sure you don't wanna come baby?

B: I don't feel too good. I just wanna stay in bed. Go have fun you'll be great.

Nicki leaned over on the bed and kissed Beyoncé a couple times before pulling away.

N: okay. Text me if you need anything.

B: I will

Beyoncé said turning onto her side feeling uneasy and on the verge of tears.

N: okay bye baby love you

B: love you too

Nicki left out and Beyoncé's tears fell as soon as she heard the door close. She woke up feeling really emotional but didn't want to tell Nicki because she knew she would've missed the meeting.

Beyoncé sighed and wiped her tears.

B: what the fuck is wrong with me

She said out loud to herself. She just sighed and tried to get some sleep to calm down.

Meeting

Nicki got escorted to the meeting room at Def Jam Records and saw August Alsina and some other people which probably represented him.

A: aye you must be Nicki, I'm August nice to meet you

He said standing up and going to shake her hand. She shook it and smiled.

N: it's nice to meet you too

He guided her to her chair and tucked it in for her then sat back in his place. His representatives made Nicki an offer that she can star in August's new music video and what her pay would be and the possibility of gaining new opportunities and potentially starting a career in the entertainment industry. Nicki agreed to the deal and was given all the details of the music video and where it would be.

Nicki sang happily as she entered the house.

Beyoncé quickly wiped her tears and turned her pillow over so Nicki wouldn't see the tear stains on her pillow and watched the TV.

Nicki entered the room and smiled making B smile back.

B: hey how was the meeting?

N: it went really well! I agreed to it and they paid me upfront.

B: that's good. So when you gonna start shooting?

N: tomorrow

B: well that was quick

N: I know but they said he changed his mind on the video concept and wanted a female in it so yeah

Nicki shrugged making Beyoncé nod. Nicki went and got changed into some PJs. Beyoncé sighed to herself.

Nicki came back and got in bed next to her and B instantly felt better when Nicki hugged her.

B: I've been needing a hug all day

She muffled in Nicki's chest.

N: awwww my poor honeybun

She said before she kissed the side of Beyoncé's forehead. They stayed in bed for the rest of the day and Beyoncé never left Nicki's arms.

The next day - studio lot

Nicki was in hair and makeup already in her outfit when August walked in.
