Hey. I'm really loving this story!! It's probs my favorite.

I've decided to put in a little recap of the chapter before for those of you wrapped up in multiple fanfics!

Last chapter everything went down and the plans went as scheduled. You teased Austin and busted all the boys!

Enjoy~

(y/n)'s POV

"So tell me exactly what happened." Zoe said. I sat myself down next to Phil on Zoe's floor. I was careful to sit correctly as to not flash anyone, more than I already had earlier. I really wish I had buttoned up my shirt before.

"No. I don't need to relive..that." I said, cringing.

"Please? I want to know exactly how much damage you caused. People don't mess with my friends." Zoe asked. I looked over at Dan who was gripping the material of his pants rather tightly. Was this bothering him?

"There's nothing to tell." I said.

"The tent in his pants says otherwise." Zoe said. I choked on the air and glared.

"Please. No." I said. She backed off and Dan's grip loosened. I watched as he flipped his fringe, adjusting it with his fingers absentmindedly. I loved when he did that. Zoe elbowed me, as I was practically drooling. What was wrong with me? One minute I was hating on him, and I still should be, but now I'm hung up on him like the girls at our school.

"Are you okay? In all this I didn't really stop to think that you were being used by that jackass." Zoe said. I stopped for a moment. I stared at my hands for a moment. I hadn't thought about that either.

"I don't know. I got caught up in that too. I guess he really wasn't all that important to me." I said.

"Then why were you dating him?" I glanced up at Dan's voice and I felt my heart stop. We locked eyes and I felt my skin start to crawl.

"I don't know. It was easy. He was simple." I replied, laying my head in Phil's lap. He looked down at me, but I ignored it. I was close to an existential crisis now.

"He's not worth any sort of grief, whether or not he did something horrible. He's just not...I don't know how to explain it." Phil said. I nodded.

"I should really listen to you more." I said.

"Yeah, I knew something was up." Phil said. I nodded and sighed. "You could take my advice." Phil said. I caught his gaze and he was practically screaming at me to go for Dan like he said earlier.

"Yeah, you're wrong about that one." I replied. He rolled his eyes.

"I'm going to make snacks, Phil help me." Zoe said.

"But...my pillow." I said. Phil chuckled and waved over Dan. Dan replaced him and I rested my head against his thigh.

"I just wanted to thank you again for forgiving me. I never expected you to and I'm beyond grateful. Thank you." Dan said, smiling. I smiled back and I felt his fingers run through my hair gingerly.

"I figured it would happen eventually as I can't seem to escape you so I decided to just let it go. Besides, I'm kind of glad I can't get rid of you." I said, staring at the ceiling. I watched as Dan's cheeks curled as he smiled, his dimples appearing.

"Thanks." he said, brushing my hair from my face.

"They're taking a long time for snacks." I commented. "Something tells me they're trying to get us alone."

"Why?" Dan asked, his face flushing.

"I don't know. I've given up on trying to figure them out." I replied.
