(y/n)'s POV

I closed the lid on the soup and held it tight in my hands. Hopefully he isn't stomach sick and this upsets him. Does chicken noodle soup do that? I headed out the door, nervous now. How mad was he? Was I supposed to be mad? What would I say? I walked down the street silently, my face red as I began to run over scenarios of what could happen. I'm not good at confrontation because I never knew what was the right thing to go with.

I hopped up the steps, ringing his doorbell. I heard a few footsteps and the door swung open, Dan in sweatpants and a t-shirt.

"Uh, hey, I just wanted to see if you're feeling better and apologize for being so salty earlier," I said. He glanced at my face then down at my hands. "Oh and I brought soup, for whatever sickness you have,"

"(y/n) it's 80 degrees out,"

"So? You're wearing sweatpants!" I argued and he laughed.

"Okay, okay, come in," he said, stepping aside for me. Music was playing in the kitchen, followed by bad singing. That must be his mum. I felt a warm hug from behind as I stepped in. "Thanks for the soup, and I'm sorry for earlier too, I don't know what was wrong with me,"

"That's okay," I said, holding out the container. He took it and I followed him into the kitchen where her mum was singing and mopping. She glanced over at me, resting the mop aside and tightening her pony tail.

"Oh (y/n), nice to see you!" she said and I nodded, still a little awkward around her.

"You too!" I replied and she turned the music down, Dan tucking the soup in the fridge.

"What brings you here?" she asked.

"Oh, well I just wanted to see if Dan was feeling better," I answered and she nodded.

"That's sweet, why don't you ask him if he'll help clean. He'll keel over in sudden pain," she joked and I laughed.

"Hey!" Dan protested and I chuckled, "Whatever mum, we'll be upstairs." I followed Dan up to his room, taking the chair at his desk as he took the bed.

"You didn't miss much during class," I said and he nodded, "Phil says you guys did vocab or something."

"Dandy," he replied and I laughed.

"How was the rest of your day?" he asked, staring at me. I just shrugged.

"Okay," I replied, looking up at him, locking eyes for a second before both of us looking away. "Mr. Evans got hit with a paper ball and he turned around he said, 'whoever threw that your mom's a hoe,' and the whole class laughed," I said.

"Man, your art teacher knows about Vine??" he asked and I nodded, "lucky."

"I know, it's great whenever we have to read something off the board he calls us Jared," I said, chuckling.

"Can I join your class?" he groaned, hanging off the bed to which I giggled.

"I wish," I said, "though I have PJ." I heard a grunt come from him.

"I'm better to hang out with than PJ," he said. I smirked.

"Jealous?"

"What? No," he replied, his face rather red, but I could blame that on account of the fact that he's hanging head first off his bed.
