Enjoy.
(Y/n)'s POV
"Oh," I sat back against the headboard as Zoe comprehended what I had just said. "So he wants to do you?"
"No, well maybe, I don't know,"
"Explain it again?"
"Basically ur asshole brother asked Dan if he would 'do me'. He said yes and then asked me if I'd 'do Joe' which I said no. So I obviously didn't know what Joe asked Dan, but he told me later when I went to go get my flip flop and he said that he thinks Dan was jealous which I don't believe."
She paused and looked up at me. "I think Joe is right," she said and I deadpanned.
"He probably is, but can you just feed my denial?"
"Oh, uh, yeah he's totally not," she faked and I sighed, shutting my eyes. "Breakfast?"
"Yes please," I said, sitting up. When we got downstairs there was a bunch of fruit laid out on the counter and Joe was flipping pancakes. "I didn't know you could cook."
"It's pancakes, not that hard," Zoe said and Joe shot her a glare.
"She's just jealous that mine are better than hers," he replied and she plopped down in a chair. "Care to try one?" Joe shoved a hot pancake in my face which I took.
"Uh thanks," I said, sitting next to Zoe as he handed her one. "Why up so early?" He just shrugged and I glanced at Zoe who seemed tired as well. He placed another pancake on the stack and I frowned. "You okay?" He turned to look at me and noticed someone in the doorway. I glanced over and Sophie and PJ were there.
"Here I'll take over pancakes," Zoe said, standing up, taking the spatula from Joe. I pulled Joe to the living room.
"Hey, I know Zoe is having a tough time, but just because your her older brother doesn't mean you have to seem fine." He glanced away.
"It kind of does."
"No, it doesn't. If you both share and stick together, the it'll be easier for the both of you than you going alone," I said. He paused to think and nodded.
"Yeah, thanks," he said, taking me in a hug. "You're pretty wise."
"I've just learned to do this sort of thing with my mom when my dad died," I said, hugging him back.
"Really?"
"Yeah, we've sort of bonded over the whole thing." He nodded and I smiled. "Now if you're really better at making pancakes we shouldn't let Zoe do it for much longer."
"True," he said, grinning. We walked back into the kitchen where everyone was now waiting. I glanced over and Dan was staring at us and I couldn't help but think he was jealous. I didn't think it was possible, but...ugh. Joe shoved her out of his spot and she pouted. I just made my way back to the table to chat, Zoe continuing to argue with Joe.
Dan's POV
I headed down the stairs with Phil and into the kitchen noticing everyone was here already. Everyone but (y/n) and Joe. I sighed and sat down next to Phil and watched Zoe quietly cook. Everyone seemed so happy, eating and laughing, but I couldn't help wonder where the two were and what they were doing.
