"To run. " She told me frantically. "To forget you ever saw one. And if you ever approached one, there was one rule: Never look it in the eyes. " She would say.
"Why?" I would always respond. Her body tensed and her hands would shake. Then, she would lean into my ear, letting her warm breath carry on into my air following with ragged words.
" Inferno."
My body trembled at that very word. And then, she'd exit before any questions would come out. Never answered: Until now.
