I called Lucas immediately , telling him what happen to my arm. He was interested and very angry. He didn't seem to like that Kevin was over at my house without my protector being over.

"Ellie!" Mom yelled from downstairs. "Come meet Dr. Kevin!"

I groaned and Lucas's gasped. "I heard that. You need to me to come over?"

"No, I'm alright....just have to bandage up this blood cut. Il talk to you tomorrow. Bye, Lucas."

"Bye!" He said before hanging up.

My eyes went back to my bloody arm, but I force myself to think it wasn't that bad. I hid his super needle to give to Lucas later. This was demonic technology. I grabbed a big bandage before wrapping my upper arm with the cut. It helped stopped the bleeding, thank god.

I went downstairs and quickly put on a fake smile. Which, Kevin returned back. With my fake smile, I looked to mom.

"What's up?"

A warm smile went on her lips as she showed me her engagement ring. A huge diamond sat upon her finger as she smiled lovingly to Dr. Kevin. "As you know, Kevin and I are getting married. I was wondering if you wanted to hang with us to find a cake and a dress. " Her wondering eyes found my bandaged upper arm. "What happened to your arm?"

Dr. Kevin glared at me, as if he was shooting daggers into my body at that instant. "I..fell in the shower. I cut it on my razor blade." I said smoothly looking over to Dr. Kevin who straightened in his chair.

He gave me a smirk before gesturing a seat besides him, but I moved the chair over to mom. No way in hell would I sit next to him. Not today, not ever in his immortal life.

Mom insisted we spend some 'family time' as she called it but I re-imagined it with having a date with hell. I was surprised that he didn't even kill me once during our little get together.

When nine o clock rolled around, Dr. Kevin said his goodbyes and exited. His petty excuse was, "I'm doing a top secret project at that hospital. They want me there." He told us, his face as forgiving as possible.

I looked away as they kissed, sending me insecure thoughts about my future. Even if I didn't get one. My days were planned with life or death. With that in mind, Dr. Kevin was a threat to me, as was Collin.

I wallowed upstairs, lonely that Sam had gone over to Ethan's tonight. As I get pjs on, I crawl into bed sighing. And soon I feel asleep.

When I opened my eyes, I was in the dreamworld. Everything seemed so alive and happy, it kinda busted my mood. I entered it pretty beaten down but now it looked like all of these flowers got it up.

With Lucas not here yet, I went around the cave, ever so often touching the fiery flowers that bloomed below my feet. The flowers seem to welcome me in there presence.

I walk to the cave, remembering that 'he' was there that night I had come for the first time. I pursued myself to go forwards, taking a flower for a makeshift torch.

"Hello?" I called out into the cave's darkness. My echoed into the shadows as I went further. I stopped after awhile, seeing that I had gotten nowhere in the invading darkness.

I sighed and leaned against the wall, looking ahead. A small light gleamed in the distance, making me squint towards the light.

"Hello?"

I walked closer to the light that glowed in an orb light. My scenery changed to a vast room filled with gold beyond my imaginations. "Wow." I muttered out to the air as I looked around. I picked up a gold bar, finding it weighted a ton in my hands. "This must be a fortune..." I said quietly as I go over to see a crown laying on a pedestal.
