Lucas's lips on mine was the best feeling ever. I couldn't describe on how it felt. His lips tasted like earth but they were so smooth and gently.

After awhile, we both pull back taking in breaths to regain the ones we lost. It wasn't until he spoke, I realized he was smiling.

"That was for the kiss we didn't get in that dream." He said.

I blush brightly, looking down at the open diary. "I agree. It was perfect. " He chuckled before putting an arm around me so that my head rested on his chest.

"I've been trying to search for you for over 500 years. "

"You've been alive for 500 years?"

He nodded. "The Inferno has been around 2000 years, since the arrival of demons. They formed a guild per se to fight them. " He told me, his hand touching my hair.

"I still don't get it. Im the chosen one, but why?"

"The Inferno says its in your DNA." He told me, not letting go of my hand.

My eyes travel to the diary. "But it seems Kevin knew something that Layla or my mom didn't know." I whisper quietly. "Its still like all these secrets. I hate them!"

His eyes found mine in seconds, and his warmth instantly comforted me like a warm blanket. "Its going to get better...I promise you. " His blue eyes sparkled in respond as I smiled at him.

"Ok...I trust you.....but this diary isn't helping anything." I threw it against the wall and watched it sink defeated down onto the floor.

Lucas got up and received it before sitting back down next to me. "The diary is helping....this is giving us stuff that we didn't even know! And maybe, it might help us in the future."

"Yea, your right. " I sighed looking at the floor. My stomach grumbled embarrassingly as Lucas smiled.

"Are you hungry?"

"Yea, I left home without breakfast. I was angry at my mom to eat and then that stupid flashback ruined it. " I pouted.

Lucas got up and took my hand. "C'mon. My dad usually has something made for me. " He lead me downstairs to Gavin reading the paper. He looked up at us from his brown eyes.

"Need anything, Son?" He set the paper down on he table.

"Actually, Ellie would like something to eat."

He got up, which surprised me and then clapped a hand on my shoulder. "Well, come in. The chosen one should fill up with some good food." He grinned and stopped at the dining room table. I sat down as Lucas sat opposite to me.

"My dad can make a mean pancake. You want some?" Lucas complimented his father.

I nodded hungrily. "That sounds great. If it isn't too much trouble."

Gavin shook his head. "No, not at all." And he went to the kitchen.

The voice in my head began suddenly. "Ellie." It hissed, in a deafening tone. Lucas was talking about something; I watched his lips move but nothing came out.

"Ellie." It struck me again that this vioce had gotten inside of me. Thats when I felt the true pain. It ravaged in my brain, making my head feel like it weighted 100 pounds, but not only that; it felt like my brain was coming apart.

I stood up as I watched Lucas stop talking. "Im going to the bathroom." Is what I told him as my voice betrayed me. As I took a step foward, the pain began crushing me like with the weight of the sky. Every step felt like an earthquake and the pain spread throughout.
