Note: Hiroko is an OC who never went into a killing game.
This is also a character from Elyria_xx's Fanfiction titled 'Danganronpa: Frozen Mayhem' which I highly recommend you give a read, it's amazingly written and deserves all the attention!

Name: Hiroko Miyazawa
Very original name!

Age: 25

Gender: Female

Nationality: Japanese

Talent: Arms Developer
I like her talent.

Personality: Hiroko has an incredibly stunted range of emotions, and whatever emotion she does attempt to show usually comes out as a little stilted. She's brutally honest and sparsely speaks, but her manner of speaking is very terse, coming off as rude quite often - something she doesn't quite realise. Her manner of speaking is also very scientific and she has quite the varied vocabulary. She doesn't understand a lot of social norms, sarcasm or figures of speech.
She's also very easily manipulated, since she can't really seem to discern others' ulterior motives, and herself lacks empathy. However, she's analytical and always scans to find the optimal solution for her current self, and is incredibly capable when it comes to learning and academics.
Hiroko is absolutely terrible socially, being unable to make idle conversation without a purpose, and doesn't start conversations in the first place. She's fine with interacting with others for work, as usually she has a point she needs to get across - however she would much prefer to be alone. She tends to judge others harshly if they don't consistently make a good impression on her.
Around the few people she's comfortable and familiar with, she speaks a lot more and at least makes an effort to keep up a conversation. It's clear she cares about her few relationships deeply, and would go to extreme lengths for friends and family.
When solving problems she is either super straightforward, taking into little account the realistic obstacles in her way, or she does things in a very convoluted, roundabout manner. This doesn't apply to her talent however - when developing something she immediately finds a way to optimise everything she has, and can often see solutions to problems that others might not.
She has Asperger's Syndrome, which was incredibly severe and debilitating as a child, but she functions a lot better now that she's an adult.
I really really love her personality!  She's a very original character with a lot of interesting points I would love to see expanded on!

Appearance: Straight medium-length black hair in a low, loose ponytail. A few strands have escaped her hairtie. She has narrow brown eyes and rectangular, frameless glasses with wide silver arms. She wears an open, white lab coat with several pens in the chest pocket, a white button-up shirt, a brown belt with golden buckle, black pants and brown leather dress shoes. Her right forearm has been amputated at the elbow, and bears those scars. Occasionally, this limb is replaced by a black myoelectric prosthetic.
The addition of her prosthetic is very original and gives her an extremely eye-catching character design.  She's got a simple yet interesting design which I really like!

Sexuality: Asexual

Backstory: The Miyazawa family is essentially a long line of geniuses - people who would go on to pioneer discoveries in various fields, mostly the sciences. Hiroko grew up with her parents and younger sister. Her sister was named Rena Miyazawa, and was younger than her by five years. Both attended a private school.
However, her parents' jobs had them out of the country very often, and she and Rena were occasionally left alone in the apartment for a few days, turning into weeks and even months as they got older. Hiroko, as the older sibling, was technically obligated to be in charge, but due to her condition she and Rena had to share equal parts of the responsibility.
She was diagnosed with Asperger's at a very early age, and received some support for it. At school, she was indeed considered odd, and would have been ostracised if she herself hadn't decided to cut ties from her classmates and dedicate all of herself to her studies. She literally had no friends, but was mostly alright with that. Some people did attempt to pick on her, but mostly she fell unnoticed under the radar.
Of course, that didn't stop Hiroko from making judgements about other students. In high school, several groups of students provoked her ire in the callous way that they treated others and frivolous ways they led their lifestyles, and she felt like she ought to dictate what others did to fit her own standard of what was 'correct' - a bit of a twisted worldview that she quickly grew out of after this particular incident.
Asking the younger but much more world-wise Rena for advice to deal with them, she misinterpreted said advice (Which most likely wasn't incredibly sound in the first place), and attempted to either kill or seriously injure them in order to get her point across.
I love her backstory so far!  I would like to know what advice Rena gave that would cause Hiroko to think she should blow up her classmates, but it's really intriguing!
