Design: Rei has somewhat spiky long purple dyed hair and light blue eyes. Her natural hair colour is blonde. She wears a grey sweater that shows her shoulders and also has two brown straps over her shoulders. She wears a yellow T-shirt with a band's name on it underneath it. She also wears black leggings and a purple skirt. She wears dark blue flats and purple socks.
I like her design, but the yellow and blue seem a bit out of place.  If you're going to add those colours I recommend implementing them somewhere else in the design as well!

Personality: Rei is a somewhat cocky person. She's always overly confident about everything and it comes off as a popular idol character cliché at first. She does however show great care towards people and always tries to keep a positive atmosphere. During her free-time events she claims that she acts so overly confident and cocky because people could look up to her that way. And by that she means that people will most likely count more on a confident person rather than a shy or timid one. She can be a bit forceful but with good intentions. Like, in the story, every chapter she'll organise a different event after a death has occurred. The one time it's a party and the other time it's cosplaying. She'll keep nagging at everyone and force them to go along with her activities. Even though most of the students do enjoy her activities and company in the end, she can be quite bothersome.
I really like her personality, it's cute and she seems really relatable!

Backstory: Rei grew up with her two parents and insecure little sister. Ever since she was young, Rei really loved music and constantly covered any songs she enjoyed. She honestly never really found interest in making original music so from pretty early on in her life she decided she wanted to be a cover singer when she grew older. She had a really beautiful voice and it didn't take long for her to memorise lyrics from a song. This led her to become a bit overconfident throughout the years and she eventually got a bit to having the personality of a 'popular' girl.
Her sister, on the other hand, was always very quiet and insecure about herself. Her sister was always awkward around other people and really looked up to Rei. This part of why Rei's personality became more confident over the years. Besides her own insecurities and fears, Rei's sister was doing pretty well until one of her years in elementary school began. She got depression because she got into fights with her parents a lot and her grades were dropping quite dramatically. She also felt useless compared to Rei. Eventually things were going well again after Rei's sister saw a therapist who helped her through some tough times. Rei gained her popularity through her youtube channel which she's usually post videos on with her covering multiple songs. Trust's Peak eventually noticed her and invited her to the school.
I really like her backstory!  The fact that she uses YouTube to get popular and gain her talent is a really cool idea!

Reaction to seeing death: She'll probably be very shocked and might seem a bit sick. She'll wonder if it might be her fault because she couldn't keep up a positive enough atmosphere which led to killing. But after thinking clearly about it she'll brush off the thought and linger around the crime scene for a bit. She doesn't really help out during the investigation but will give her testimony if she's asked to.
This suits her.

Reaction to being accused: She'd probably be like 'bitch, why would I do that? I'm the only one who's trying to keep everyone alive here while you just sulk away in your room all day!' So she'll probably be rude about it but later on in the trial apologise because the protagonist is actually just a nice guy who's trying to help.
She seems a bit angry for what you described her personality as, but I could understand if it was someone she was close to or if she was really stressed from the killings!

Extra Information:
- Her favourite song is 'Can't stop the feeling' by Justin Timberlake.
- Her little sister is the same depressed girl from Mao's backstory.
This is interesting!  I love the connection between the characters!

Overall, Rei is a really intriguing character who I really like! I'd recommend just going over her reaction to death and character design, but other than that she's really good!
