Interesting middle name.  Where'd it come from?

Oooh, another interesting talent!

Appearance: She is quite short, only rising to about 5'3, and possessing rather pale skin.  She has long dark brown hair and honey brown eyes.  She wears a loose and comfortable red shirt, with an adorable golden cat on it, and a medium-length black skirt.  A pair of durable black body-hugging boots protect her feet.  She wears a golden lion necklace, attached by a brown cord.  Her canines are also a bit more cat-like.
I really like her design, but her outfit doesn't seem to really represent her talent.  It's a really cool sounding character design, and I think it would suit someone of another talent really well, but usually Danganronpa suits character design to talent (Refer to Miu, she's got a similar talent to Samantha).  I would expect a mechanical engineer wouldn't be wearing such loose clothing, as she would be in danger of catching her clothes in the things she is working on (I know this is hypocritical bc my OC is a walking talking safety violation for woodworking lmao). I like the addition of the cat-like teeth, its a good way to show her personality visually.  Also, the red and gold are a good addition.  I see you looked at colour theory for her character and its great!  

Personality: She is somewhat like a firecracker.  Before you light the fuse she's completely fine, civil and cheerful.  She is a bit quirky and more ambiverted.  Sometimes she rambles on about programming or machines or something that interests her, and gets embarrassed afterwards because she probably just bored someone to death.  However when you test her she becomes a bit more punk-like, and is easily aggravated.  
She can normally refrain from exploding, but when she does it isn't pretty.  Samantha will scream, yell, and cry, until she eventually can't stop crying to the point where she can't scream anymore.  Sometimes she's blunt, but she also has a sort of tough love thing.  But, taking this into account, she doesn't really trust people easily, nor does she forgive easily.  
Except in some occasions.
What are the special occasions?  I'm interested.  I like the metaphor of her being a firecracker, its really cool.  The fact that she has an achilles' heel (Her 'explosion'), and her bad traits definitely make her a more fleshed-out character and its great!  I think her being embarrassed about rambling is a bit out of character, though.  Considering her character design and the rest of her personality, I feel she would be more proud and wouldn't really care if she was boring someone.  The embarrassed but also fiery thing is kind of falling into the category of 'I secretly have a dark side' Edge Sue, but if you made her a little more confident it would make her personality more fitting.  Especially considering how she reacts to death and kills.  If you did want to go for the 'secretly have a dark side' thing, I would recommend looking at Mikan for reference.  But the reason Mikan has such a 'dark side' thing going on is due to the issues she faced in her backstory.   Otherwise I like her characterisation and I think she's really good!

Reaction to death: Usually her first reaction is stunned silence, followed by anger.  She's the one who would most likely start accusing people straight off the bat, unless someone takes control of the situation and defuses it.  She often lives up to her nickname, 'firecracker'.  

Reaction to being accused of killing: Her sarcastic and sassy nature would emerge at full force, and she'd try and use evidence to prove that she's innocent.  However, if people continued, she'd quickly grow more and more angry, eventually ending up screaming or shouting that she didn't do it and breaking down into a sobbing mess, which doesn't help her look the most innocent to be honest.

How would she kill: It would be hard for this usually cheerful, but angry, girl to bring herself to kill someone, seeing as even when she gets really mad, she breaks down crying.  So it would most likely be that she snaps after multiple killings, and ends up taking something simple like a kitchen knife or a pipe, and offing someone.  Then afterwards she'd do her best to dispose of the evidence while realising what she had done.  After that she'd cry, and be a lot less angry and more sad, along with more distant.  Her change in personality would most likely get her caught.
Love the casual use of 'offing someone'.  Incidentally humorous.  I like that she's the kind of person who would never kill, as I could see the others suspecting her as soon as they see one of her outbursts, and that would be an interesting character development moment.

A lot of your characters like gummy bears.  Is it kind of like an indicator that if your characters like gummy bears, they're nice characters?  Its a cute addition, I like it.
