I like her design! It's very grey but it's reminiscent of the main character of DR: Rebirth which is really interesting! I like the yellow (gold?) accents, they're really cool, and the addition of the little badges and stuff is really cool as well!  I like your art style too!

Sexuality: Straight

Personality: Yuriko is generally calm and collected, but she may get a bit pushy if things don't go her way.  She can sometimes be a bit rude and/or unprofessional, especially if someone tries to prove her reasoning wrong.  She's very diligent when it comes to her job and she tends to overanalyze small (And sometimes insignificant) details.  When under pressure, she tends to nervously tug at her tie (Seen mostly when losing an argument).  She believes she can't afford to mess up, no matter how small the mistake.
I like her personality! I would like to see a bit more added to it, like how she reacts to other characters and the world around her, but otherwise it's really cool so far!

Backstory: (I can't go into too much detail due to spoilers)  Yuriko's Mum was a prosecutor and her Dad was a detective.  I can't really go into detail about the Father, but let's just say he cut all ties to his wife and daughter due to reasons I can't disclose yet.  Yuriko's Mum had her career as a prosecutor ruined when she lost an important case because of "some random teenager".  Ironically, Yuriko suffered a similar fate a few weeks before she was tossed into the Killing Game.  She's still very bitter about it and resents her Father for cutting ties with her.  Throughout her career as a prosecutor, people compared her to her Mother time and time again, which caused her to develop an inferiority complex.  All this combined with the fact that she rarely makes friends has made her into a cold and bitter person.
I like this! I'm not sure about making a protagonist a cold and bitter person, but in the end it's up to you :)
I'm interested in what happened to her father as well as what happened with Yuriko's failed case!

Extra Info: She's the protagonist of an upcoming fangan of mine, which is why I can't go into details about her backstory.  Since she's the protagonist, I decided to leave a lot of room for character development. 
Instead of yelling something like "No, that's wrong!" or "You've got that wrong!", she says "Objection!" when refuting a statement.

Reaction to seeing death: After recovering from the initial shock and disgust of seeing a dead body, she may feel a bit annoyed.  She'd feel insulted that the culprit went after someone else and not make an attempt on her life, because it makes her think the culprit doesn't see her as a potential threat.  She acknowledges that the logic behind this kind of reaction is questionable at best.  (This is her reaction to the first murder and it kind of has to do with who the victim is, so her reaction to future murders may change slightly with each case.)
This is really intriguing, I'd like to see how she reacts to other characters as well as what happens to make her react to the first death in such a way.

Reaction to being accused of murder: At first, she might think she may have misheard you.  After it turns out that you were actually accusing her, she'll be annoyed, but she'll calmly try to refute your logic.  If this fails, she may resort to insults and her calm mask starts to crack as she becomes increasingly irritated.
I like this!

Overall, Yuriko is a really interesting character with a lot of good points. I would like to see her personality more fleshed out and I'm intrigued about her being the protagonist!
