sing to me

Once I woke up, I quickly stood up and looked around for Pam. Then I found her in a pool of blood.

"Pam!"

I yelled as I rushed over and placed her head in my lap. She was coming in and out of consciousness.

"Please stay awake Pam. Stay awake with me baby."

I said. I moved my hand from under her neck to see blood covering my hand and a cut on her neck.

"Baby...your neck. I'm gonna get you help. Just stay awake."

I said as I kissed her forehead.

"Fergal, I'm dying. I'm done. Don't convince me otherwise."

Pam said as she grabbed my hand.

"I love you. Please know that. I love you so damn much Fergal Devitt."

Pam said as she placed her hand on my cheek.

"I love you too baby. More then words can explain."

I said as I kissed her knuckles.

"I love you. I'm sorry for not protecting you. I'm sorry for not keeping my promise and not protecting you. But I love you. Always remember that."

I said to Pam.

"I know it. Can you do one last thing for me?"

Pam asked.

"Of course."

"Sing to me. I love when you sing."

She said as she cuddled up against me. I nodded as I thought of a song to sing to her.
