Heimdal's golden eyes seemed to be waiting for them as they arrived back into Asgard. "Brother" Loki pleaded for his brother to come over to him, Thor swiftly over over to Loki "Brother please, I ask that we keep my arrival secret until I am back to the way I was? I really can't handle father right now" Thor nodded and spoke to Heimdal quietly, asking that he would keep Loki's arrival secret until further notice.

Loki sighed, his back had become increasingly tender as of late and he feared, along with his shoulder, that the shredded flesh had become infected as it hadn't begun to heal even now. Thor's shirt made things worse but he refused to part with it as it still seemed to bring him comfort and relief from what was going on inside his head; all Laufey had said and done to him had embedded itself into Loki's mind, like a nightmare that refused to leave. The vast, strong arms of his brother cAme towards him and he was lifted off into his brothers embrace. Thor didn't put Loki down but kept him securely in his grasp. Thor noticed his brothers questioned expression and smirked "Don't look so confused brother. I'm never losing you again" Loki looked into his brothers eyes and he began to well up again. He lay in Thor's arms as he carried him down the back passages towards his chambers. Exhaustion began to get the better of him and he began to drift off, his head falling softly into Thor's chest as he fell asleep, feeling safe for the first time in what seemed like forever

Thor moved swiftly as he carried his exhausted brother through the back passages of Asgard, his brother had asked not to make his appearance public, perhaps he feared Odin? After all, what Laufey had said about him being a frost giant shook him to the bone, he wondered how Loki felt, after all, it was his life, he was the one who would have to face Laufey again. It seemed there was nothing he could do.

He lay his brother down carefully on his bed, his chambers had looked empty and desolate without Loki and now they seemed full of life again, although he knew that recovery could take a while, he was dedicated to doing all he could to make Loki happy again
