As Loki's first week back came to an end, his strength had improved dramatically and his apatite had fully returned which meant that his body was regaining weight by the day. The wounds on his legs were beginning to scar over and his back hadn't caused any more irritation or pain. Thor had done all he could, which had been more than enough, for this Loki wished he could repay him. All he could do was promise himself, that if his nightmare came true, and he was forced to return to Jotünheim, he would do everything in his power not to harm Thor. He didn't know if becoming a frost giant would change his thought process or just his appearance, he didn't want to become evil, or a monster, he was scared that his brother would hate him, perhaps try to attack him, he might forget their memories and only see a frost giant, a ruthless killer.

Thor walked through the door, a smile creeping across his face as he saw Loki, he looked like his old self, just minor brushing and scarring added. Loki was now walking steadily and a glow had returned to his face. He was sure that Loki was growing bored of him though, Thor was the only one that Loki saw, he himself went out and saw other Asgardians but Loki, he sat in his chamber all day, probably not doing much at all. He looked forward to his memorial service now; he was terrified that Odin would act unexpectedly and banish him or lock him up. But Loki was his son and he surely loved him, but the though that Odin had taken Loki as a baby, stole him, and lied about his origin worried him. What would Loki do when he confronted his father? He could see in Loki's eyes that he was angry about everything Odin ha done. He just hoped that Loki would stay calm when he had the chance to question his father
