'Girl if you knew what happened yesterday?' I expressed to Mary on the phone

'Girl spill!' Mary inquired

'So I was minding my own business and I bumped into my ex' I explained

'Which one?' She asked as my facial expression changed

'Girl, you know which one I'm talking about' I said in a Are you stupid tone

'DEVANTE!' She raises her voice

'Get out!' She shouted 'what he say?....what he do?....did he try getting back with you?....'

'Damn Girl, it ain't twenty questions' I laughed

'Yeah...but I need facts like...you know'

'Girl we just spoke' I trailed off

'I know you might not love me how you did back then but you will always have a place in my heart.....I will always love you' I air quoted feeling my face soften up preparing for tears to come rolling down

'Girl...you're getting really quiet....you okay?' Mary asked slapping me out of my thoughts

'Er....look Mary, I gotta go I got a meeting to attend to, I'll call you later' I said

'Um okay then, bye' she said weirdly as I ended the call after

'You Alright Justine?' Michel'le asked as we sat on the chairs getting our makeup done for our headshots

'Yeah I'm straight' I faked smiled at her as I really knew that I was upset from inside

'Girl no your not...you've been upset since you've got here' she stated

Damn she's been watching me for two hours?

'I'm just tired' I lied smiling a bit

'Alright the girl...but I hate to see you looking like this though' she smiled

She turned back to whatever she was doing. On second thought, I felt like I should've spoken to her, maybe it would've lightened up my mood because she might be able to relate or something because seeing how her relationship with Dre went.....Jesus we might have some things in common.

'YO MICHEL'LE!' I shouted back at her as she turned to face me 'Can we talk for a bit'

'Yeah sure' she walked up to me smiling

'Damn....no one else knows this but the people I'm close with....but me and DeVante had a really.....really.....oh my god....abuse relationship' I said as my face faced the floor 'we broke of the engagement because I found out that he got a girl pregnant behind my back and I just didn't want to get hurt again....now that I saw him yesterday, feelings started to come back'
