Hana walk hand in hand with Akane as Akane tells her the story.
Witches are all around the city. They possessed different kinds of powers which reflects on their inner self. Many witches especially the young one, do not know they possess such power. This differences can lead to abandonment by or isolation from their family, friends and the society. There was this woman who is known to be one of the most capable witch. She was called "The Great Witch Hana" and had always hoped to save these young girls from such cases. She searched through town by town and managed to save many. One day, she encountered a cry from a girl who possesses a similar power as hers. However, the girl was a livestock for the vampires. Being very stubborn and determined, she planned on saving this girl a particular night. Coincidentally, the girl and her family were planning on escaping the place. When the witch finally reached, she was too late. The girl had been slashed by a vampire and died. Nevertheless, she revived her into a pure witch. The witch became the girl's mentor and started to train her into becoming a young witch. The girl had hope to live a peaceful life with her two surviving childhood friends ever since she was revived. However, when she was finally 15, the village she lived in was burnt into nothingness overnight. The mentor sacrifices herself to save the girl, putting all the faith she has to the girl. So the girl came to this city, carrying out her mentor's wish. She thought she would fail until she met a little girl with glowing red eyes and accurate fortunes.
Akane told finish her story as she stopped on her tracks, turned and faced the little girl who looked at her, unable to react. Akane was able to feel the tightening gripped of the little girl's hand on her own fingers.
