"Young lady, are you feeling okay?" The receptionist asked. Akane, still in a shock, replied, "A room... I need a room..." The receptionist looked at her, "Aren't you a student? You can't book a room yet." Akane did not attempt again, but just withdrew from the counter and exited the building.

Tears threatened to fall as she recalled the memories of the burned down village a few weeks ago before she arrived in the capital. Who are the witch hunters? Why do they possess the power of both the vampires and demons? "Teacher..." Remembering the last request Hana gave her, she reminded herself to stay strong as she wiped away her tears and continued to venture deeper in this seemingly peaceful city.

"Renews: A female vampire was found in XXX school attacking students just a few months ago..." Akane stopped on her tracks upon hearing the word "Vampire". She turned her attention towards the television on display. Her eyes widened in surprise when she saw Yu, she stared intensely at the screen. He has grown so much in just four years but his determined emerald eyes remained the same. She should have expected it since she has also grown. Both her body and soul has also grown much more mature.

To meet again, will he be able to recognize her? Losing her human traits, can she face her two childhood friends? Can they accept her as a witch?

She never regret agreeing to escape Sanguinem as the thought of her family being a livestock to the vampires was unbearable. However, she has always regretted not being able to protect the Hyakuyas, her only family, her only friends when she was still human. Thankfully, she found out that Yu and Mika were still alive, and that was what motivated her to continue living. With that determination, she clenched her fist and continued to search for a place to stay.

Suddenly, a coarse hand reached out to grab hers. She turned around and saw a man with a hat that covers one of his eyes. He commented, "I thought they were all gone for good, looks like I missed out a little one..." Akane retrieved her hand from his grasp, "Who are you?" He smirked, "I've found you... Little witch." Akane could feel her the muscles of her whole body froze in fear as the memories of witches' corpse lay motionless by her side poured back like the large waves that has no end.

The man took out his pocket knife and pointed it right on the area of her heart. "Time to get this over with."
