Chapter 32

"Yuu!" Yoichi called out. He tried to stop Yuu from dashing out. When Yuu saw Akane, he rushed over to her side, "Are you injured?" His anxious tone overpower his frowning face, Akane could only sense that he is worried. "I'm fine?" Akane answered, slightly confused. He stared at her bleeding wound, "You call this okay?" He points to her wound and 'scolded' her. Akane averts her gaze, "It's not painful anymore..."

Yuu frowned and stomped, towards a certain purple hair girl who was coming in his direction. He stated, "Shinoa, I've said before, if you harm Akane or Mika, it is considered a challenge towards me." Akane immediately run over, "Wait Yuu, it's not-" He cut her off, "Stop hurting her or I'll quit this team." Akane glanced at Mika who shrugged, not planning to do anything to stop this misunderstanding.

"Yuichiro Hyakuya. Are you done with your speech?" Shinoa questioned in authority. Yuu did not respond, still agitated. She put her hands on her waist and said, "I got three things to annoumce. First, I didn't kill her. Second, I have agreed to help. Third, without moon demon company, your demon weapon will be confiscated, are you sure you still want to quit?" Shinoa continued to lecture him. Akane looked at her childhood friend in sympathy.

"You could've stop him, he listens to you more." Akane stated. Mika shook his head, "He never listens, ever since he entered the orphanage, that part of him makes him an idiot." Akane could not counter, she laughed instead. A sign she agrees. He would not have been Yuu if he listens.

"Akane! Mika! Yuu!" The girls and rushed up to the trio once they came in the basement. Yuu stretched his arms, "Shinoa is so merciless in punishment, she confiscated my demon weapon for two days." He complained. Akane sighed, "It's your fault too. You should have listen when I try to speak." Mika was playing with the children.

Yuu scratched his head in annoyance, "That room is for you and the girls. Mika's and my room will be next to yours. Seiki will stay with us." Akane nodded, "Thanks again." She brings the children into the room. "Wait! Where's Yuri?" The girls looked around, "She wasn't here since just now..." Akane panicked, she looked around, but there was no sign of the little girl. She rushed to searched the whole area, along with Mika and Yuu.

"Did you find her?" The boys shook their heads. "You?" Akane shook her head. Tears filled the brim of her eyes as she recalls that day:

She needs to become a good witch, you can help with that right?

She can't lose her, she had already promised to take good care of her.
