"You killed thousands of lives because teacher was getting in your way? Those little ones don't even have powers yet." Akane said in disappointment and disbelief. How could anyone do such things? "I'm a witch hunter. I'll burnt down the village if it belongs to those filthy witches." Elliot states in a matter of fact tone. Akane's brows furrowed deeper, "They are children. Most of them are still normal children! How could you?!"

The civilians were beginning to stand on the witches' side. Seeing this, he panicked.

"What about you witches?! You killed my family, my wife, my sister, my niece, my children!" He shouted in agony. Akane stepped forward, "Just because of one witch's sin, you blame so many others? How could you?" Akane was losing her consciousness, half due to her inability to calmly accept what she just heard and the other half was because Mika drank too much of her blood. Elliot took this chance to strike her, but he was incapable as his speed loses to a vampire's. Before he managed to hurt Akane, Mika was already upfront, blocking his attack. Mercilessly, pushes his away. Eyes as cold as ice, giving the witch hunter a shiver.

Elliot looked around, everyone had stranded away from him. Only the witch hunters and Guren stood by his side.

"Guren... Does my sister want you to kill me?" Shinoa stared intensely at Guren. His eyes widened in shock. A sudden realisation struck him.

"Guren, take care of Shinoa. Make sure she's not hurt at all costs."

Mahiru's smile flashed across his mind. He stopped moving before taking out his sword and cut off the ropes that tied to Shinoa and the others.

Elliot backed away slowly. A sudden strike from the back awoke him. The noble vampire's eyes gleamed with bright red. "This is for Sakura." He pulled out his sword majestically. The soldiers shouted, "Sir!" As they rushed towards him. "Retreat." Elliot said. "Leave me! Go!" He commanded but none of them leave. Elliot gave them everything when the witches killed their family, so they won't leave him.

"Uncle!" Shinoa rushes forward. She held him up. "I'm sorry Shinoa. I couldn't protect anyone. They died right in front of me... I'm sorry that I've hurt you..." He couldn't finish his sentence as he reached his final breath.

Ferid walked away, once again with an air of elegance around him. Following behind him, were the vampires.

Guren and soldiers went to arrest the witch hunters. Akane watched everything that took place. Beside her, were her two childhood friends and the three young children.

"Akane!" A little girl shouted as she ran towards the young witch and gave her a tight hug. Her little hands wrapped around her waist. "Yuri?" Akane called her name in disbelief. "Yuri!" She returned the embrace. "You're safe! I'm so glad."

"I missed you so much!" The little girl cried. "Me too." Akane responded as she tightens her hug with the little girl.
