Sallys pov

" What the fuck do you mean you haven't seen him since last night? What ? You left him where? You're a set of twats.  He ant even been home yet. It's 3 bastarding o'clock in the afternoon. What's so funny?"

I listened to Noel talk on the phone with Jamie. There was a pause after he asked the last question.

"Oh" Noels face dropped and he put the phone down.

" What ? What is It? " my voice trembled. I bit away most of my nails. We spent the whole night up trying to find him.

" Sally I-" he was cut off by the sound of door opening. " Fuck." He whispered under his breath.

I was confused.

Liam entered the house. He looked dead . His hair was a fucking mess, he stunk like cigs and alcohol and moved slower than a snail.

" What the fuck?!" I yelled out.

"Sally " Noel tried calming me and I already got the vibe that he knew something I didn't. Jamie must have said something.

Liam kicked off his shoes and moved closer to us. The closer he got the worse he looked. He stood in front of the 2 of us lifeless. I blamed it on the full night of drinking. Never in my life did I expect what came next.

I tried to hug him but he moved away.

" Don't please."

Noel sighed and ran his hand over his mouth. My nervous bellyache kicked in. I guess my intuition.

" What did you do?"

" I .."

" You what ?" My heart was beating faster.

" I kissed this girl last night- but then she left!" He tried to make the matters sound less harsh .

I felt myself building up the courage not to cry.

" So where the fuck were you all night then ?" Noel looked at him pissed off.

" I got more drunk... and I .. I decided to walk home but.. " he looked down at the floor " I kind of saw her on this park bench and.. I went back to hers and that. "

My heart dropped. I was speechless and my heart was filled with pain. I couldn't be strong. I broke down like never before. I've never felt as betrayed in my life. After everything we've been through he still decided to do this and make this choice.

He broke me in such a devastating way. Noel attempted to hug me but I pushed him away.

" Sally " Liam began " I don't know what to say. I was drunk and then when she left I felt like a right sort for doing what I did d'ya know what I mean? So i got more pissed and that But then I went round to hers and it is what it is." He looked up at me and stared in to my teary eyes "I'm fucking sorry. Please forgive me."

" Is that Liam ? Is that bloody boy back ?" Peggy rushed downstairs.

She was happy to see him but she stopped dead in her tracks when she approached us. Seeing my crying face she turned to Liam " Care to explain?". She knew it was him who made me cry. Doesnt take a genius to figure that out.

I rushed out of the house , slamming the door. I couldn't care less any more. Loving Liam was the most exquisite form of self destruction.

Liams pov:

" What have you done to her this time ?"

My mother's words hurt me. Everyone knew I was poison to Sallys  life and I knew this from the very beginning. Everyone blamed me for breaking off our friendship -even though it was done out of love. Now they see. They all know why I wanted to let her have a better life without me.
