DOMINIC

I silently watched her beautiful face. Her smooth and pale white skin. Her pointy nose and damn! Her kissable lips that tempt me to kiss her again. I watched her closely. I like her being like this. With no make-up on her face. I like the old version of her. The way she looked at me before. How she sees me while her eyes were twinkling. Her simple actions that hasten my heartbeat. Her sweet smile. I missed those moments.

I smiled a little. Hiding the pain inside me.

Will she be back then? The old Elisa?

I lowered my head level to her.

"Baby... When will you come back to me?" I asked her even though I knew she didn't hear me.

She's sleeping. I entered her in the room just to do this. Just to watch her freely.

Today is our flight going back to Switzerland, with me. Where my wife changed. Now it's 6 AM already. Our flight is at 11 AM. I'm just waiting for them to wake up. I also cooked breakfast for them.

I moved to her closely so I can watch her intently. I put the tip of my nose to her.

"I love you-"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Napalayo ako agad sa kanya.

"I... I-I was just-"

"WHY ARE YOU HERE?" She got up and distance herself from me.

Her simple gesture made me hurt.

"I'm sorry. Gigisingin sana kita-"

"Gigisingin? Eh, bakit parang hahalikan mo na naman ako? Kailan ka pa naging rapist?"

She chuckled.

Oh fvck. I really missed her.

"I'm just joking," She faced me. "Wag mo na ulit gagawin 'yon Dominic." Her face became serious.

"I'm sorry. I just want to be with you."

"What?" Napatawa siya ng bahagya dahil sa sagot ko. "Sasama ka na nga sa'min pabalik diba?" Gusto kong batukan ang sarili ko.

"Y-Yeah. I mean, I just want to hold you-"

"What for? Hindi na tayo mag-asawa Dominic. At may girlfriend ka. Kaya kung tutuusin, wala kang karapatan na halikan ako at hawakan pa." She said coldly.

But no. I will never stop. Umalis siya sa kama. Tumayo ako mula sa pagkaka-luhod at sinundan siya.

"Elisa,"

"Lumabas ka na. Maliligo ako. Ikaw na lang ang gumising kay Eric. Para mabilis." I held her arm.

"Elisa..."

"What?"

"Leslie is not my girlfriend-"

"Eh ano? Fvck buddy?"

That hit me. And I am not expecting that word coming from her.

"Where did you learned that word, Elisa?"

"'Wag mong ibahin ang usapan Dominic. Hindi na ako tanga para hindi malaman ang mga salitang 'yon. Sa tagal ko sa Switzerland, hindi lang 'yon ang natutunan 'ko."

I clenched my jaw. So ano pa ang mga natutunan niya doon?

"Oh ano? Natigilan ka? Kasi totoo, diba?"

"Sorry. I'm so sorry." Puro 'sorry' na lang ang lumabas sa bibig ko. Hindi ako mapakali sa mga sinabi niya.
