Chapter XXI: Living with him

        "Cream for your wounds. Just apply right amount of this. Here's the gauze. All set." Sabi ni Alexander at inilagay sa may side table ang mga gamit upang malinis ang sugat ko sa gilid ng noo. I thought the doctor stitched my wound pero hindi. Sabi ni Alexander it's unnecessary.

"You may now leave." Sabi naman ni Kalev na nakatayo sa may left side ko. "Ako na ang bahala kay Marsh. Don't bother. Go to your other patient." He added. "Stop acting like a doctor now because I am. But if you insist, aalis na ako. Enjoy you two." Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi ni Alexander na enjoy bago lumabas ng pinto. Si Kalev naman ay lumipat sa right side ko at kinuha ang cream.

He moved closer towards me. My lips were pressed and almost choked with my own saliva. Napaka lapit ng mukha naming dalawa. "Relax, darling. I won't eat you without your permission." Sabi niya at tinanggal dahan dahan ang benda sa noo ko.

"This must be hurt like hell." I flinched with his touch ng lagyan niya ng cream ang sugat ko. "Kinda." Sagot ko na lang. Nilagyan niya ng panibagong gauze ang sugat ko. All I can see is his face bumaba ang tingin ko sa labi niya at binalik sa mga mata niya. It wasn't easy to ignore those eyes but it was next impossible to ignore those lips. Nang matapos si Kalev sa kanyang ginagawa doon lang niya napansin na nakatingin ako sa labi niya. In just a second, his lips touches mine. Brushing and asking for entrance. Babae lang ako at marupok so I let him in. I can feel his wet and moist tongue inside my mouth. He's definitely a good kisser. Kahit akong walang karanasan sa paghalik nadadala niya. He suck my lower lips and lightly bite it sakto lang para hindi ako masaktan instead it give shivers to my spine.

I gasped for air as my body tensed. Nagsimula na namang uminit ang buong kwarto. I moaned from his kisses I can feel him smirk between our kisses. I automatically encircled my arms to his neck as he playfully touches my tongue. I groaned.

"Pati ba naman dito sa hospital kinakain mo ang mukha ni Marsh?!" Ako na ang unang umiwas at itinigil ang halik. Kalev don't have any plans to pull back! Pumasok si Nikos na may dalang take out foods. Nakasunod naman si Tori at Elizabeth na hindi alam ang nangyari. Good thing. Dahil baka magtanong ulit sila at wala akong maisagot.

"Remind me to beat Nikos later. Abala sa ginagawa natin." Bigla akong namula sa binulong ni Kalev sa akin. Agad namang namang uminit ang pisnge ko dahil doon. Am I blushing? I guess so.

"What happened? Bakit nasa pinto ka pa din Nikos? Paralyzed ka na di ka makagalaw?" Tori asked with full of sarcasm. "You have no idea." He said. I looked away.

"Marsh what happened on your face? Bakit ang pula?"  Tori asked at tsaka pumasok sa loob.

"M-mainit lang."

"Eh? Pero naka AC 'tong buong room."

"Drop it Victoria. Nikos, I need to talk to you." Thanks Kalev for saving me. Ibinaba muna ni Nikos ang dala niya at tsaka lumabas. "I'll be back shortly." Kalev said and look at me with his eyes. I nodded then smile. And then he left the room.

"Soooo Marsh, both of you are in relationship?" I was caught off guard by Elizabeth.

"I d-don't know." I really don't have any idea. He always compliments me, kissed me, do unusual things. Ano nga ba kami?

"It's strange. This is actually the first time na kusang lumalapit si Kalev sa isang babae. He's not interested with girls." Sabi ni Elizabeth. I secretly smiled. Kinikilig ako sa naririnig ko. Sa ngayon, hindi ko muna kailangan malaman kung ano ba kami. Go with the flow. As long as I enjoy what's happening to me right now.

"So Marsh gusto mo ba si Kalev? Your heart is pounding like crazy whenever he's near? You always wanted to kiss his lips? You can feel butterflies in your stomach when you hear his voice?" Tori asked dreamily. Clasping her hands like she's imagining a Prince Charming. Nakatingin silang dalawa sa akin—waiting for my answer.

"Y-yes." I answered. There's no need to hide it.

"You know if I were you Marsh tanungin mo si Kalev kung ano ba talaga kayo. Mahirap kasi ang walang label sa relationship." By any chance, may gusto kaya sa akin si Kalev? I'm kinda hoping because I think I like him too.

IT'S BEEN 3 DAYS. 3 days na akong na confine sa hospital and now I'm packing all my things dahil ma didischarge na ako in any minute. Patong-patong na din ang utang ko kay Kalev baka habang buhay na akong magtrabaho sa company niya. May patches pa rin ako sa may gilid ng noo. He didn't want me to leave the hospital so soon pero wala naman akong magawa dito kundi humiga 24 hours.

"Ready to go?" Tanong ni Kalev na prenteng nakaupo sa sofa. Tinatanong ko ang sarili ko kung nagtatrabaho pa ba si Kalev dahil sa tatlong araw na nakalipas lagi siyang nandito sa hospital. Buying me foods, because the hospital food sucks, taking care of me. Pupuntahan ko sana si Marco pero masyadong maaga pa para sa visiting hour. Siguro dadalawin ko na lang siya kung pwede na.

"Let's go." I said.

Tumayo siya at kinuha ang back pack ko. He opened the door for me and we walked side by side.

"ANONG ginagawa ko dito?" I asked at pumasok sa loob ng penthouse niya. Ibinaba niya ang back pack ko sa may couch at tinanggal ang black coat niya.

"Starting today, you'll live here." What? Live here? Dito sa penthouse niya? He must be kidding me. But Kalev don't know how to kid. Lumakad ako papunta sa loob at nakita ko ang mga gamit ko si apartment. Oh my. All packed na nakalagay sa may baba ng hagdanan.

"You should have told me na pinaalis na talaga ako ng tuloyan sa apartment na inuupuhan ko, nakapag hanap sana ako agad ng bagong apartment." I told him. I also saw all the unopened gifts.

"Ano ba sa sinabi ko ang hindi mo naintindihan? From now on, dito ka na titira. This will be your home. No room for arguments." I rolled my eyes at him. Back being bossy. His voice holds power and all his word are laws.

"But this is too much! You paid my hospital bills and then what? Ngayon gusto mo naman akong dito patirahin sa penthouse mo?" I said while gritting my teeth. This is really too much. Napaka laki na ng utang na loob ko kay Kalev. Hindi ko na alam kung paano ko mababayaran ang lahat.

"Your room will be upstairs." I scowled. I saw him carry one of my belongings at akmang paakyat na siya sa taas. "Wait wait wait Kalev!" I said at pinigilan siya. He gave me a flat look.

"I can't live here. I just can't. Hindi magandang tingnan kung ang isang babae at lalaki ay nakatira sa iisang bahay. Hindi naman tayo kasal at para tayong nag li-live in." Sabi ko habang kinukuha ang gamit ko sa kamay niya. But he's so strong. Nakita ko ang pagdilim ng mukha niya. He look at me with scrutinizing gaze. Maybe I could ask him right now if he likes me. It's making me giddy and kinda excited too. Tatlong araw na din na pumapasok sa isip ko 'to.

"You are my PA. Mas madali tayong makakapagtrabaho kung malapit tayo. Any questions?" My heart dropped. Sadness is creeping inside my system. I expected too much.

"I get it." I said. He cared because I'm one of his employee. He cared because I'm just his PA. He cared because he thought that I'm just a charity case. Bakit ba nawala sa isip ko ang mga bagay na 'to? Why did I forgot my place here in the society?
