Chapter XXXV: Curiosity 

Marsh Lahm's Point of View

"Handa ka na ba sa pagalis mamaya?" Kalev asked while signing some papers on his desk. At ako naman ay inaayos ang mga schedule niya for today. And nakikifree internet na din dahil naghahanap na ako ng puwedeng lipatan na apartment that cost reasonable. Hindi naman tama na tumira na lang sa penthouse kasama ang kapatid ko. It's too much. I really appreciate everything yet may hangganan ang lahat. Plus nakakahiya naman kay Kalev at kahit na boyfriend ko siya still it's the proper thing to do. And about Marco...

Marco is going to school now. Mabuti na lang at umabot pa siya sa enrollment and I'm happy to see my brother going in school without any complications. Thank God. So far, so good.

"Ano? Pagalis? At sana naman tayo pupunta?" Ibinaba niya ang hawak niyang fountain as he intertwined his hands with one another. I'm not aware what's happening. 

"Rome, Italy, Marsh. We need to go to the Italy to attend the competition, unless you changed your mind and decided to stay here in the country." He sarcastically said that made me pouted my lips. Most of the time he's so coldhearted and giving me cold shoulders but he's really like that. Normal na ang pagiging ganyan ni Kalev. That's one of his personality, I have nothing to do with it. I just need to accept it and love everything about him. 

Being a jerk now, aren't we

"Italy? Wala akong nabasa sa invitation na sa Italy gaganapin ang recital competition." Three days from now gaganapin na ang competition.

"Change of location, baby. Since all the competitors came from different countries all over the globe. We'll be leaving tonight." Tumayo siya at naglakad palapit sa station ko at ako naman ay nanatiling nakaupo.

"Mamaya agad? I don't have passport at hindi pa nakahanda ang mga gamit na dadalhin ko." He approached me and kissed my forehead. "Don't worry about the small details. Puwede ka namang bumalik sa penthouse and pack all the necessary things, baby. You can go, now."

"My work isn't done yet. You're not coming with me?" I muttered and become curious. He don't want me to go anywhere without him. Well, siguro nagiba ang ihip ng hangin. Okay lang naman sa akin, I can manage.

"Don't worry about your work, darling. I'm sorry baby, I can't come with you. I still had some business to deal with. I'm all yours this evening." And then he winked that made me laugh. Napatango na lang ako at tumayo. Putting some things inside my back pack.

"Gonna miss you, darling." He said and kissed my lips and I responded.

"Gerald will take you home." I carry my bag and waved at him. Gerald is his personal driver. "Puwede naman akong magcommute." 

"It's a no. Public transportation isn't safe." At agad nagsalubong ang kilay niya.

"Ilang beses na akong sumakay sa public transportation this past few years and nothing happened to me. At tsaka baka makaabala pa ako sa driver mo." He pulled me and encircled his arms to my waistline.

"I'm just protecting you, Marsh. I want you to be safe all the time." Inilapit niya ang mukha niya sa akin. "Protecting me? From what?" Nakakunot noo kong tanong. "I'm always safe, though." I added humawak sa dibdib niya dahil napakalapit na namin sa isa't isa.

"We never know." Makahulugan niyang sabi.

"But Kalev? Why are we leaving so early? I mean we still had three days to get ready bago magstart ang competition." I asked and trailed my fingers to his chest.
