"Marsh! Mabuti na lang nakarating ka. Gusto mo talaga ako makadate, no?" Sabi ni Draco at lumapit sa pwesto namin ni Erin. I also saw my manager, sneered with disgust and walk turning her heels away. What's her deal?
"Draco." I said, welcoming his presence.
"Hi Draco. You look handsome." Sabi ni Erin habang may hawak na kopita na may laman na alak. "Matagal na naman akong guwapo." Nilagay ni Erin ang kamay niya sa balikat ni Draco. "Pahawak ahh. Baka kasi madala ako ng kahanginan mo. Hindi ka man lang ba maging humble." Natawa na lang ako sa usapan ng dalawa. From wild and loud music napaltan to ng sweet music. Yung ibang mga taong wild na wild sumasayaw sa dance floor ay nagsialisan at may iba naman na pumupunta at may kasamang mga partner. Bumaling naman ang atensiyon ni Draco sa akin.
"May I have this dance?" Draco said as he bow his head and give his hand. Erin squealed like a teenager. "Ano ka ba Marsh tanggapin mo na naghihintay na ang Prince Charming mo." I become hesitant. "Hindi ako sumasayaw." Gusto ko sanang tumanggi but Erin pushed me playfully kaya bigla na lang akong lumapit causing me to put my hand on Draco's hand at ang isang kamay naman ay napahawak sa dibdib ni Draco. Erin!!! Sigaw sa isip ko. "Shall we?"
"Uh—oh...okay." I said with defeat. Wala na akong magagawa dahil nahawakan ko na ang kamay ni Draco. I don't have any choice but to dance with him. Sige, ngayon lang naman. Next time, wala na. He smiled at me sweetly.
Lumakad kami sa gitna at nagsimulang sumayaw.

Nakahawak ang kamay ko sa balikat niya while him—nakahawak sa bewang ko. We're inches away and I felt, nothing. Parang nakikipagsayaw lang ako sa isang matalik na kaibigan.

"Aren't we too close?" I said as I stepped backward. He flashed his cheeky smile. "Ngayon lang kitang mahahawakan ng ganito kalapit. Lubusin ko na while it lasts." Naguluhan ako sa sinabi ni Draco. He sighed.
"I like you, Marsh. I like you a lot. Maybe it started when you bumped on me. I didn't have a chance to get close to you. May pumipigil eh. Even I compete with him, I think at the end ako din ang matatalo. I don't want to fight with a losing battle." And then he chuckled, unamused.
I'm hanging on a line here baby
I need more than ifs and maybes
We'll come down from the highest heights
"I—I don't know what to say, Draco." I said while biting my lips. He didn't made me nervous it's just that I'm choosing the right word to say. I don't want to be impulsive, I may hurt him more.
"Friendship is all I can offer." I muttered.
Still searching for the reason why
And now I know what it's like,
