Sasuke Uchiha: Battle Scars

Sasuke Uchiha. My relationship with Sasuke Uchiha could be called several things, but complicated was definitely the main one. I was only acquainted with Sasuke, at first anyway. Being a chuunin from a very early age meant that I didn't have many friends that I grew up with. Though, when I agreed to help a certain sensei train his student for the upcoming round of the chuunin exams, I was officially introduced to Sasuke Uchiha.

Flashback One:

"Sasuke, this is (Y/n). She graciously agreed to help with your training, so be polite and grateful. She's very talented and skilled, that's why I've personally hand picked her to help you." Kakashi explained to his student, now named Sasuke, who was standing with his hands in his pockets and his nose in the air as if he were better than everyone else and didn't have a care in the world. He's about to have one. I smiled gently at him and stuck my hand out for a friendly hand shake.

"Hello, we went to school together when we were younger for a while I believe, but lovely to meet you again I suppose." I said gently, my eyes soft and my smile softer. His nonchalant gaze went from my face, down to my hand, and back up to my face before he scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Whatever." He mumbled simply. My eyes went wide at his nerve and I got ready to scold him, but since Kakashi and I had worked together before and he knew exactly how I was with arrogance, he jumped in to save an unnecessary, yet necessary fight from happening.

"Please forgive him (Y/n), he doesn't socialize much, and apparently doesn't know any manners. Please be as merciless with him as you please." Kakashi explained, then motioned his hand toward the egotistic boy in front of us. I smirked slightly and took a step back, then let a deep breath out.

"Alright then, take your position Uchiha." I began regularly, then sneered. Sasuke's eyes widened just slightly at my sudden mood change but he got into an offensive position and let his face go serious. I quickly read his position and figured out every move he was about to make, simply based on his last name, and his current stance. I got into an offensive position as well, taking him aback. He then charged at me, and in less than thirty seconds, he was pinned to the ground with a kunai to his throat. Sasuke and Kakashi both seemed baffled at my skills. I scoffed and let Sasuke off of the ground.

"The first thing you need to work on is your shitty attitude. You're not above everyone else." I sneered, and then turned to walk away, though I didn't expect what was coming next.

"Wait! Same time tomorrow?" Sasuke called, causing me to turn my head to look at him. This time, his face held a small smirk. I kept my face stoic, though on the inside I was smirking as well.

"Sure thing. You need all of the help you can get." I called, then smirked at him, and turned away after seeing his glare. I mentally laughed, while Kakashi did so out loud.

"Tch." Sasuke sucked his teeth as Kakashi continued to chuckle at the both of us as I left from their sight. I continued to work with Sasuke and Kakashi up until the official day of the exams.

Flashback Two:

"Remember that he's technically an earth user, so his defense should be weak with the chidori, but you also need to keep your limit in your mind as well. Just don't die, you have enormous potential." I mumbled to Sasuke as he and I stood atop of the cliff we'd been training on for the past month. Sasuke scoffed lightly as a small smirk crept onto his face.

"Just potential?" Sasuke smirked as if he were waiting on me to compliment his abilities or something. I glared slightly and rolled my eyes at him, prepared to fight.

"Well, that and a massive attitude, not to mention your obnoxious ego and astronomical pride." I listed off as I smirked at his obsidian glare that I've seen a million and a half times just this month. He shoved his hands in his pockets and closed his eyes nonchalantly.
