MARVEL - Murder She Wrote - JOHN MCIVER

         NOTE: tried to put this at the top but just need to get it out of the way Nour's powers are                                 based HEAVILY on Rogue's y3ni like besides the X-gene exactly the same

A long long time ago Nour was a God but after some drama with Loki most other deities turned against her and she was cursed to be human. Without any memory of her previous existence she's born in 20th century New Orleans and fortunately or unfortunately born with dormant powers. Skin contact with her and she gets your thoughts, any powers and your life if you're too tempted and you tried it too long. She can control any power she catches easy enough but she just can't figure out how to control her skin. She'd been working as a mechanic to get ahead on her path to become an engineer while trying to move past the shit she did when she was younger but after a traumatic experience disrupts her life her own powers come to the surface at the wrong time and she gets locked up for it

While they're both being transferred she meets Luke in county for a minute, they run into each other again after they're both out and coming to New York and when she literally bumps into him and grabs a bit of his invincibility they're determined to stick together and be each other's family. They both do what they do to pay their rent and try to handle everybody good and bad they deal with from Cottonmouth to Jessica Jones and The Hand to Diamondback

And now when they're really settling into their lives and getting comfortable in Harlem, since the Stokes seem to be either gone or keeping relatively quiet, a new player comes in and he does not care how comfortable anybody is. Bushmaster's determined to turn everything upside down in Harlem and that might even include her dynamic with Luke as her inability to classify him as evil or not drives a wedge between them

LITTLE EXTRA: I'm definitely not including all the little details about her just b/c I can't even try to remember them all right this minute but a few things about Nour........

    Despite not being able to touch anybody's skin for any fun reasons, she's comfortable with her      sexuality, so if you ever write her powers being (temporarily) taken away, then she's about              grind on a few people at a few clubs and take said people home 

    Due to his skin, Luke's the only person either of them know of who she can touch so there              should be precious moments, plenty of hugs, her giving him a piggyback ride, etc 

    If it's brief and on accident, then Nour's touch borrows a piece of you -- you're weakened like        she took some of your energy and sometimes traits she gets your thoughts and/or memories,        and your powers 

   And  if she holds on too long, then it's more permanent for both of you -- dead body didn't             know what they were up against, any powers she just has in storage and can whip out                       whenever, and a copy of them in her mind, so she's got her share of bad people she had to             take out who she's keeping locked down up there

    For how her powers work on others -- unless they got something special going on with their          skin or they're not human (such as Asgardian) then her skin's on

    And YOU get to decide how her powers work with Bushmaster -- she can learn control or not,       her skin can just sap the Nightshade from him instead of taking his whole life, Loki can pop             outthe cut while she doesn't even recognize him and put a spell on her/her powers, or                       whatever you come up with

   Also, Mouna's one of my fav FCs of all time but I have no idea what the age gap between her           and Moustafa would be y3ni I mean these are just actors and actors play a age range, but if             somebody finds out how old he is and not only Mouna but both Mumbi and Mouna are too             young, then let me know -- I do have a alternate FC I just love both these women way too much 

Wow I'm feeling like that was longer than most entries in a plot shop and might be the longest I've typed in a good while reading it aloud it doesn't even sound like me anyways this story can be started whenever but personally I feel like a little before Jessica Jones S1 should be the earliest possible beginning mostly b/c most writers even in Hollywood just don't write New Orleans right -- y3ni I mean there are exceptions such as @drtycomputer and a few others on WP but stuff like TO's just made me wary of writing of New Orleans --and the next real chaotic part of her life is when they're in New York running into all these crazy motherfuckers 

If you like Nour's character and her powers and everything but want to change her backstory drastically -- such as Bushmaster being the one she fights back-to-back with since forever and her being in Jamaica for some reason or Cornell hiring her to do hits or be a cleaner or some shit -- then let me know what type of backstory you were thinking of 

Oh side note TILDA/JOHN SHIPPERS ASSEMBLE I love them so fucking much, but S3's SO far away, anyways since I just learned how to post a GIF here's a few to help out with the hibernation til S3 in 2026
