Kurt knew this job was a lot more than it seemed, more dangerous than the Coles expected. He knew he needed to use his connections and find reliable back up, they don't even have somebody who speaks Brasilian Portuguese fluently for fucks sake. So a week before the Coles and company fly down, he crosses over to a hole-in-the-wall bar in Pará and convinces Itatí in some dark corner there and he can tell from just looking at her face, despite accepting the job, she knows he's holding back a lot of details. Thanks to her military background, she not only has a spot to take him to immediately where they can pick up all the equipment and supplies they need but he knows already he can rely on her to stay focused and keep shit compartmentalized, and work from out of sight of the cameras to keep everybody alive. Least until he gets his job done

Yea they're going near La Boiuna but it's not like they're really going there -- Tat's just here for the work, she couldn't give fewer fucks for "The Undiscovered Country" and their bullshit. She's not even planning to pick up a gun or move at a brisk pace, she's just interpreting when needed, posting up in the engine room with las Valenzuelas and staying away from the cameras. During the first situation they consider a crisis, she makes it to their meeting in their kitchen late and catches the most flawless voice she ever heard, but when she makes it into the kitchen and processes what he just said it's time to push all that to the back burner

LITTLE EXTRA: I stay talking about FCs but Yaya was my fav choice for this it was just impossible to find any good GIFs though -- and Tat's not getting a doctorate in engineering but she does pick up some shit staying with Jahel and Emilio in the engine room during down time y3ni you know back in the first few eps when that was a thing
