And while training at some El Yunque base, it did occur to her she might not survive whatever the military puts her through. She never expected to get hijacked by aliens though. Especially with all that whispering about Markovia early on when she first joined up. All she wants now is to figure out what year it is, how everything works -- her powers included, what they did to her and who they are. First stop's Markovia. Whatever year it is, she doubts Slade is a regular name but he swears he "has the answers she seeks," so she's just distrustfully seeing where him and all this takes her for now.
