Ngl I never finished the series but from what I remember hearing it was a pretty weak ending and there weren't a lot about Gus so this can take place whenever
Deni's never spent a prolonged amount of time with babies so she's pretty awkward with this child -- a whole lot of cussing around minor/s and soft moments
and I did want more outside the city from The Strain this can be as AU as you want out of a Strain story and if they do leave NYC they can come back whenever ofc
